The Hangover Part II
Rating: 8/10
Review: alot of funny bits like the first one with alot of familiarity (some bits almost feel like repeated scenes shot at different angles with minor difference). Still awesome funny tho
Fast Five - 6/10. Enjoyed the action and the races, but the over-the-top container scene really killed it for me. Guess I'm getting too old for unrealistic action sequences. Teenage me would be ashamed.
Zatoichi (2003)
9/10 Great samurai movie
Secretary (2002)
9/10 what an amazing film about not being a person who follows social conventions when it comes to relationships. Its about bdsm and i found it quite profound.

The good, the bad, and the weird
9/10
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
9/10
It was pretty funny and the fights aren't half bad.
X-men: First Class - 1/10
Garbage story, garbage actors, really not worth the time to even consider going to watch it
Bleh
Rampage - 3/10
Uwe Boll's movie. Slight improvement to his movies based on video games but still horrible. Story about guy who goes on shooting rampage in his home town, kills dozens of people, robs bank and even gets away with this all. Vanity sums in the review my feelings perfectly "uncompromising and nearly unwatchable (as much for its subject as for its nauseating visual style)". Simply horrible piece of crap.

Just saw transformers 1 last night... 10/10
the best movie I've seen in the last few years hasn't even been a movie...
Game of Thrones (Season 1)
10/10
couldn't really have been any better.
----SPOILER ALERT----
"Rushed" doesn't even begin to describe every single movie in that entire series. I still cannot fathom why all the HP movies have received such high ratings across the board. Every single movie the director(s) are indirectly screaming at you "LOOK FANS, THIS IS WHAT SCENE#XYZ WOULD'VE LOOKED LIKE! AWESOME ISN'T IT?" Except that I'm not feeling the flow of the story at all, I'm not feeling the emotions of the characters at all.
When I go to see a movie about a book I've read, the last thing I need is a fast-forward narration of everything I've read being shown back to me with zero emotion or feeling put into it. E.g. Lord Of the Rings has great depth and emotion put into it, I could somewhat FEEL the same feelings I had when I had read the books. While I also felt greatly moved and intrigued by the Harry Potter books, the movies are a complete joke. Every 5 seconds I find myself thinking "oh lol, yeah I remember that....umm..../bored".
I didn't feel sad when Dumbledore died in the 5th, I didn't even wince when Dobby died...yes, I already knew it was going to happen but they still did a hopeless job of putting ANY emotion into the movie. The character development is hopeless.
And WTF is up with the spells? Why is every spell do EXACTLY the same thing (i.e. smash windows and break stuff on shelves) no matter what they scream?

Super 8
2/10
inc rant and spoilers
I really don't know where to begin. What the hell did I watch? Some random suburban emo dick who saves his friends from a mistreated and misunderstood alien monster with more subplots between his father and his gf's father. The story is your generic hollywood piece of shit rip off but of E.T. How the hell does someone survive a head on collision with a fucking train with their head practically split open? In fact, if he was trying to stop the train why in the fuck would you drive your car head long into it?
You better herp yourself before you derp yourself.
The Pianist, for the 7th time. Awesome movie! 10/10 without doubt.
Adrian Brody is such a great actor and the movie is a pure art.
