Mature raiders of all classes!
RAID started with a group of RL friends who wanted to raid together. With experienced leadership and enthusiastic players, RAID is a great 10-man raiding guild for both casual and serious raiders. A new system is being used which pulls raiders from 2 separate pools, allowing hardcore (3 nights/week) and casual (1+ nights/week) to raid together. This flexible system gives raiders who commit their time a consistent raid spot, while giving casual raiders a flexible schedule that meets their busy lives. Raid times:
Raids are from 7 to 10pm server time (9pm until midnight CST) to accommodate people who work later shifts. Raid nights are Wed, Thurs, and Sunday.
Looting:
Looting is an inflated zero-sum dkp system, which awards those are available to raid, not just those who are in the raid. DKP is also awarded for those who are on time and contribute to the guild.
Starting in Cataclysm, raids will be using voice communication, and will be required of raiders.
