Corrupted Egg Shell, Trinket question

I recently obtained the Corrupted Egg Shell (heroic) http://www.wowhead.com/item=56463 I was wondering if this is any good vs. what I currently have: Rainsong http://www.wowhead.com/item=55854 or if this is any good compared to other 346 ilvl trinkets? More or less, just give me your opinion of this trinket. I play a priest holy/disc

I would much rather have Rainsong due to the static bonus of spirit and the proc, not a use effect. If you forget to use your egg, you're wasting a trinket slot. If it breaks early, you're not gaining the most mana gain from it. It's a finicky trinket, and doesn't like to be used. I used to use mine when solo'ing for a "mana regen while I drink" trinket, but it would stop me from drinking at every 5 seconds when the mp5 kicked in.

Use Rainsong imo.

Rainsong is very nice but so is the egg shell's use. Personally i toss it on a target that will take minimal damage so i get the most regen out of it.

Honestly, i think you should use rainsong also. The haste and the spirit working together make it better than the egg shell.

You do need to aim for an intellect trinket though. Both your i346 trinkets should be the +283 (i think?) intellects.
