Cleaning up my wow folder for more hdd space.

heya all

ok my wow folder is getting pretty damn big with all the updates and expansions etc ... almost 30gb :/

so i want to know if i can delete some of the old patch data from the 'update' folder.

these are the following files.

WoW-3.3.0.10958-4.0.0.12911-NA-Stage-1 - 750mb
WoW-3.3.0.10958-4.0.0.12911-NA-Stage-3 - 1.6gb
WoW-3.3.0.10958-4.0.0.12911-NA-Stage-3 - 2.5gb

from what it looks like these are the pre-patch lich king to cata files.

if ive already patched then these should be safe to get rid of?

most of the size is in the main 'data' folder - which of course i wont touch.

Yes, you can delete whole "update" and "updates" folder.

Also you can delete everything in main WoW folder that looks like:

wow-4.0.1.2120-enUS-tools-patch.exe
wow-4.0.1.2120-enUS-tools-downloader.exe
