Crimson Firehawk - Proto-drake Reskin

I was very excited to see the new Firehawk, but after seeing this picture I am very disappointed.

In essence, it is a protodrake with fire.

I always thought the proto-drake model was the best out of all the flying mounts. I have NO problem with them reskinning it 1000 times lol.

Not really a reskin, just the fact its using the Proto Drake skeleton for the model.

Regardless it still looks totally epic.

It same as Raven lord mount just being a reskinned raptor with feathers, and raven lord is still totally looks epic. Well that firehawk is like.. waay more badass/beautiful than any other mount i have seen reskinned or not.

that just means it is even cooler, however a new skeleton and flight animation would be cooler, the frantic flapping of proto-drake wings don't seem very phoenix like to me.

I think it's safe to say the Fire Hawks will be the reward for Firelands 10/25 Hard Mode Meta's respectedly.

I ... am in love. I have never considered myself a 'hardcore' WoW-gamer, but I WILL get this thing. If the requirement is "Land the killing blow on Ragnaros, Deathwing and Al'Akir at the same time while not wearing any uncommon quality or higher equipment" I will STILL find a way to do it.

With God as my witness, I'll get that damn firehawk.
