Just watched the 3rd episode which I found as brilliant as the previous ones!
Going to start with the book now, hope it lives up to it
just got finished watchin episode three....
AMG SO AWESOME seriously I LOVE this show this and Madoka Magika are tied as my favourite shows this year, but this is starting to pull ahead, just because it is SUCH a perfect transfer from the book
LOVELOVELOVED this episode, so much awesome loved all the stuff at the Wall (Tyrion is starting to win people over ) loved every scene with Jaime in (they chose a perfect actor for him) LOVED seening Viserys getting pwnt he's such a mental can't wait for Episode 6 LOVED the scene with Robert talking about his first kill, brilliant scene SO many great lines
and then theres Arya proving once again why she's my favourite character although I've got to say we have a first! yup.. there is actually an actor I'm not 100% happy about! I don't like the guy they got to play her 'Dance' instructor, I know it's stupid.. but there's just something about him that's a little.... off, I always pictured him looking more like a skinny Antonio Banderas, tall, WHIP thin, olive skin and long black hair swept back. Ah well, he was funny/cool enough to be okay, even if he looked a bit off.
in fact the way I see it, there was only ONE problem with this episode...
it ended can't wait a whole WEEK for the next one

I thought Syrio the dance master was spot on.

I think Syrio was bald in the book, but really believable in the show.
I wonder what Ned was thinking about at the end when the camera was zooming in on his face.. I'm guessing how Arya reminds him of Lyanna and the fight at the Tower of Joy. /ponders
How is the book series? I watched the show and it's really good. But I feel like I most read the books, the only thing that bothers me is that the paperback books are 1000+ pages long.
Exactly this, you don't even realize they are 1000+ pages when reading (actually, I think GoT is 842 pages, but not 100% certain on that) The entire series is awesome and just gets better. The only bad thing is the massive wait between books, but as long as George continues to not disappoint I will continue waiting for each new installment.

The 4th book I was a little disappointed with, mainly because the 3 prior books were so brilliant. I just hope GRRM doesn't go all wheel of time style on us and create lots of unneeded bloat.
i just hope he doesn't pull a robert jordan, as in die before he finishes. i like the wheel of times series. :P

I'm reading the whole series again while we speak. Hopefully that is the case and I'll enjoy it the second time around more.

Btw, here is the 5th book. Good luck to the editor.
Meanwhile, back on Azeroth, the overwhelming majority of the orcs languished in internment camps. One Orc had a dream. A dream to reunite the disparate souls trapped under the lock and key of the Alliance. So he raided the internment camps, freeing those orcs that he could, and reached out to a downtrodden tribe of trolls to aid him in rebuilding a Horde where orcs could live free of the humans who defeated them so long ago. That orc's name was... Rend.
aye, I'm gunna start re-reading the series soon, just want to finish A Wise Man's Fear first. There are certain series that just demand further readings, AsoIaF is probably number one on that list, he just packs SO much into it, that you need to read it more than once, just to get all the stuff he's throwing at you.
also, as to the video, and the DwD manuscript....
OMFG LOOK HOW BIG IT IS!
that's not a book, that's a fucking FOREST, okay it'll be editted a bit, but still... we're talking.. 1500pages? I can't WWAAIITT!!!!!
I wanted to watch the whole vid, and hear the sample pages, but that ladies accent really annoyed me so I'm gunna wait and read it for myself

It's that size so we can beat anyone to death with it who trys to stop us reading it.
Anyway, back to the show watched the third episode today and I still am very impressed with this show, when I heard about this show I was rather worried that they would butcher the story as they usually do to this type of book.
Saying that, I think so far they are doing a fantastic job.
