Hi everyone,
First time poster long time reader. Well second time poster, first time was in someone elses thread. Was not sure if i should make my own or not.
After readind through the stickies i feel its time that i try build my own computer. I have about 1000 CAD to spend so this will be more of a budget build.
Things i would like to do with it are run wow pvp battlegrounds and a little raiding while running a couple addons. I also stream to my Ps3/Xbox 360, run music in the background
and if at all possible try some of the new Fps games out now.
I've managed to put together somewhat of a list that can more than likely use a little feedback or suggestions.
- Cooler Master HAF 912 Mid Tower ATX Case (RC-912-KKN1)
- Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 Socket AM3 AMD 880G + SB850 Chipset ATI Radeon HD 4250 Graphics DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066 Mhz CrossFireX 2x PCIe 2.0 x16 8-Channel HD Audio Gigabit LAN 2x USB 3.0+12x USB2.0 5x SATA 6Gb/s ATX
- AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition (125W) Quad Core Socket AM3, 3.2GHz, 8Mb Cache, 1800MHz HT, 45nm (HDZ955FBGMBOX)
- G.SKILL NQ Series DDR3 1600MHz (PC3-12800) 4GB (2x2GB) Dual Channel Kit (F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ)
- Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 700W v2.3 Power Supply (RS700-PCAAE3-US)
- Asus EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 DirectCU ATI Radeon HD 6850 Chipset (790MHz ) 1GB (4.0Ghz) GDDR5 Dual Display DVI/DisplayPort PCI-Express 2.1 Graphics Card
- Western Digital Caviar Black (WD1002FAEX) 1000GB (1TB) SATA3 7200RPM 64MB Cache (OEM)
- Pioneer DVR-219LBK (Black) SATA 24x DVD-Writer OEM
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (OEM)
I have a feeling the ram and gpu would not work with my motherboard but the guy at my local cpu shop says its fine. I dont plan on overclocking untill i learn more about it, probably on a future build.
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
