Dante, Nero, Vergil. Pretty much all main DMC badasses.
Altair from the first AC game was awesome. Also loved Ramza from final fantasy tactics. And I could never forget Kratos of course, because if I did he would beat me to death with my own arm.
My ultimate hero is Dante though. Altair, Ramza, and Kratos get honorable mentions for being ruthless.
