Will i need a better CPU cooler?

    Hello

    So i got this atm

Now i was wondering, With a standard Case fan and the stock fans on the CPU and GPU. Will this be enough to last a while in gaming and not cause overheat / death of overheating?

I plan on keeping things low, no ultra / max settings, minimum to low on all games / desktop settings, no overclocking (don't even think tha CPU can). Anyways yea think ill be good on regular stock fans?

Better then the OEM Cooler is always a good idea. Make sure to read reviews and make sure it is ACTUALLY better then the OEM model though.... there are aftermarket ones that are worse.

There is no reason to not max out some settings. Just don't go overclocking things.

Edit: if you go for an aftermarket cooler, get some arctic silver 5 thermal paste as well.

The stock cooler will work but it can be a bit noisy under load - at least mine was.

I bought the I5 2500k last week. I used the heatsink that came with it at first but ordered another due to the noise it makes. The bundled heatsink uses a smaller fan which requires higher RPM to maintain temps.

What on earth are you talking about? It's not cheap on any level. It's one of the most expensive ones there is. It is top of the line though, but it's complete waste of money for the OP.

CM Hyper 212 will be a good choice:

The stock cooler should be sufficient if you're not overclocking, if noise is a concern(assuming the stock cooler is loud) go with an aftermarket one but from my experience the CPU heatsink fans are generally pretty quite, the graphic card ones however can be a bit loud.

It's not quiet, no. We're talking about i5-2500 stock fan, not "generally".

i have an Intel I7 2600 (Sandy Bridge) and use the fan that came along with the CPU.
I think it works fine (guess i5 has the same cooler).

yea im just seeing if the stock fans will be enough for just regular non OC gaming considering summer is just around the corner, if it is not do they have some CPU coolers that do not require the removal of the Mobo? like how the stock fan currently is, just clips in place is the CM Hyper 212 like this? i would read / research it but i am in a ZG wipe fest in jin'do =p. wrighting this in-between our wipes
