Doesn't matter, you fire it off ASAP so you can get another one going. Otherwise you risk the chance of proc'ing another, therefore losing a Pyroblast!........
But from my experience, I'd hazard a guess at 12 seconds?

well i could crit on one mob and kill it and run to another and crit again in like 20 secs. would it count ??

No he means how long can be between the two crits for it to proc
The answer is an infinite amount of time
Actually it might not save after you log off or move to a different zone, but near enough
