Best lock specs as of 4.1

So my lock just hit 85 and started to wonder if there was a one spec that most people lean to because of the dps advantage, or are they pretty balanced out now and just play what you like? I hear Demo is still bad for pve but are Dest and Aff pretty close?

best lock spec ... it depends on the bossfight. destro and affli are pretty close in dps...
You should try all and see which one you like the most

they are all close enough that depending on fight, gear, etc.. one may top out the other... sooo... the answer is depends... just play the spec you like and be happy that all 3 specs are viable...

Thank you for all the great responses I've raided as all 3 specs back when I was 80. So I guess I will do what you guys said and try them out and see which one I like the Best, I used to mainly use Destruction, but leveled as aff for the awesome self healing.
