For Americans it's easy to get components at a reasonable price.

This is aimed mainly at Europeans for finding American based retailers that deliver internationally.

I've found superbiiz.com deliver internationally. They do have relatively high shipping costs compared to America but on average I'd estimate a decent SB cpu+mobo and a 6870 would be around 75+ euro cheaper to just pay the shipping costs.
