    Compatible Issues TV/Computer

    I've got the following choices,

    Mini-HDMI to HDMI converter
    DVI to HDMI converter

I'm not sure how the Mini-HDMI works or if it is even capable of connecting my computer to the TV (27"). I heard it's used for all sorts of portable devices. Any other problems I should worry about? Any input would be greatly appreciated(+/-'s). My system below, student budget

    Intel i7 2600k
    8g DDR3 1600 Mhz
    Asus GTX 570

    Thanks!

What plugs you have in the TV? If it has DVI port go with it. As good as HDMI but without sound. If you want sounds going to your monitor, then get a HDMI to mini HDMI cable

    edit:

didn't use my brains while reading... go with the mini hdmi adapter and as far as i know mini HDMI is identical to HDMI just smaller.

Mini HDMI is usually on your graphics card outs and if it does an adapter to change it to regular HDMI is included. Nearly all graphics card outs have DVI. If your monitor has HDMI, use it, if not use the DVI.

    It cant be that hard.
