Fork or Knife

Meh.. I always uses knife & fork to eat pizza and most of my friends does that aswell.


OT: Fork & knife for pancakes aswell.

I'm guessing it's a regional thing, in North America I don't ever see people eat pizza with a fork and knife. Might be different in Europe though. Of course that's with the assumption you're european.

Seeing that there is probably some confusion about this.. Is this American Pancakes or European Pancakes?

American (I imagine) being something like this:

With Syrup, butter or whatnot over it..

European (Atleast in my country) pancakes look like this:

Where we, again in my country, put Marmalade or such INSIDE the pancake and then roll it into a.. well roll and then eat it. (Some put sugar on top / inside it aswell).


Also it depends entirely.. When i eat american pancakes i'd do it with a knife and fork. If i'm eating ''European'' pancakes, i'll just eat it with my fingers.

But yeah, if you could specify which Pancakes you're referring to that'd be great

My forks aren't sharp or long so I don't wanna sit there struggling to cut out a piece. It's faster with a knife, just cut em all in quarters, two cuts and I'm all ready to shove them in my face.

Why stop simplifying at just a fork?
Why not just use your hands? Or stick your face into the food to eat it directly?
It'd save time, right?

They're called 'table manners', and those without them are slobs.
If you're sitting there in your underwear, eating pancakes, then use whatever.
If you're at a table - especially in public - use a knife and fork.
