LF a keyboard for lots of ergonomic bindings, steelseries fang?

For a long time I've been playing on my laptop, which has a very comfortable layout like [this one]. I'm moved over to a desktop setup now, currently using a [g15 like this]. Immediately the alt and F keys became a problem- the laptop has them all much closer and the alt key is one space over so you dont have to bend your left thumb inward while using WASD to move. Can't use the alt key comfortably at all with the g15, so with it I'm missing a lot of easy combo presses that I'm used to.

So, I'm looking for a thin keyboard with a similar layout. The best I've found is [this], which has the more-right alt key and closer F keys, but I'm also really curious if anyone enjoys using the [steelseries merc stealth] or even just the [fang gaming pad] alone. The fang thing looks neat, but it also looks like it could be total waste of money.
