2600K, 2x590 or 3x580 3GB (you can add 4, but tests have indicated performance decrease in many games), Maximus IV Extreme, 4x480GB SSD's in RAID0, 4xSamsung 2TB in Software RAID10 (or RAID0 if RAID10 isn't available for software), Corsair AX1200 or the Silverstone (?) 1500W PSU, Xigmatek Elysium or Corsair Obsidian 800D, 4x4GB 2000Mhz+ RAM.
After that, 3 EK GTX580 blocks, 2 Laing D5 Single Edition Pumps, Koolance Dual D5 Rad, EK Supreme HF CPU block, 2 or 3 EK FC Links + 1 EK dual bridge or triple bridge (depending on graphics config), tubing and distilled water and a few decent sized radiators. Oh, and 2/3 EK Single Slot PCI Brackets.
Hook all that up and then just to top it off, an OCZ Revodrive.
Total would be in the 9-10K USD range for all of that.
Alternativly, you can go with a dual xeon setup, just switch the 2600K for 2x Xeon X5680, triple the RAM capacity, add in another EK Supreme HF, change the motherboard for an EVGA SR-2, add in some more SSD's and some more revodrives. Total would be in the 17K USD range. Might want to make account for an additional PSU too as the Xigmatek Elysium can hold one at the top and one at the bottom, although linking 2 up together can be a pain in the ass and pretty unsafe.
Oh, and yeah, go with some extreme monitor setup.
