OC - Manual voltage or adaptive?

    Hey lads,

I've been running my 8700k at 5.0ghz with a vcore of 1.29 for some time now and was wondering if I should change my manually set voltage to adaptive. Right now, my CPU runs at full speed regardless of what I'm doing.

Do you think enabling speedstep and adaptive core voltage is worth it, or is the energy saved marginal?

1.29 isnt that high, how are your temps? o.O

Only reason to have speedstep on/adaptive is when you are kinda too high on the V and long period might actually hurt your CPU in the long run, high being 1.35-1.4+.

For saving energy..not so much >_>

Temps are very low; ~25°C idle and ~75°C load.

The energy saving bit was more from an environment perspective, but if the power draw is insignificant I might as well keep it as it is.
