Over the past week or so, I have noticed my Touchpad has been getting ridiculously warm. Not to a point where it's searing my fingers however, but if you leave your fingers there for a few seconds it's more than noticeable. Even when no other part of my computer is sweltering after a prolonged use (meaning my fan and hard drive), the touchpad is.
This isn't my main computer, but I use my laptop a lot as I'm not at home that much during the day, so it raises concern as I kind of need it. The laptop I'm currently using is a 'Samsung R719', and the touchpad 'Synaptics PS/2 Port Pointing Device'.
Does anyone know the reason for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
