Or during TBC or had enough gold to get it from BMAH. Its really hard to know now who got it from naxx40 or from BMAH but it doesnt really matter tbh.

This time, a mix-and-match of the Tier 17 matching pieces, Justicar, and the Stage 2 WoD crafted plate set. Not sure if I'm totally satisfied with it yet since the color contrast is so bold. The T17 matching shoulders looks MUCH better with this setup than Justicar does, I just don't have them at the moment.

I really dislike how the WoD-style dangler belts clip badly into tabards, so to my eyes it's either dangler and no tabard, or tabard and no dangler.

    No tabard:

    With the Arakkoa tabard:

    Back:

    Item List
    Head/Chest/Legs: Truesteel Armor (Stage 2)
    Shoulders: Justicar Shoulderplates
Belt: Ripswallow Plate Belt/Girdle of Crushing Strength
Gloves: Gauntlets of the Heavy Hand
    Feet: Mosscrusher Sabatons
    Cloak: Cloak of Crimson Snow
    Weapon: Commanding Mallet

Dammit, Sigist. You utilize colors too damn well.

And here's in agreement over the WoD belts. They clip through too much. Ruins a lot of what would be good xmogs, imo.

You are not your role. You are not how much gold you have on your account.
You are not the mount you ride. You are not the contents of your bank.
You are not your epic purples. You are not a special and unique snowflake.
You are the all-grinding, all-farming crap of Azeroth.

    Thanks, Sett! I agree, Ansible.

Here's a variation on that Stage 2 crafted set incorporating MoP shoulders and belt and a Cata green sword. It's the Duochrome Avenger!

Besides the color, I also love this combo of pieces because it looks balanced; it's not top heavy, the shoulders aren't ridiculously oversized compared to the rest, etc.

    Item List
    Helm/Chest/Gloves/Legs/Boots: Truesteel Armor (Stage 2)
    Shoulders: Stonetoe Spaulders
    Belt: Girdle of Crushing Strength
    Cloak: Cloak of Crimson Snow
    Weapon: Splinterspear Greatsword

The fact we're (probably) getting three colors of this sword makes me happy.

That is simply a beautiful model, and what I expect from a revamped item; it retains the spirit of the original but it's still different overall. I wonder, though, why many Mythic color shifts seem to be the least attractive (to me, anyway).

I'm honestly surprised they didn't do a purple one for Mythic. They love going blue --> red --> purple in some form when it comes to skin recolors.

edit: Green is a color that is lacking in armor and weapons. At least they're branching out with the colors.

Actually blue-red-green is a popular set as well, these items are developed by the DK guy who makes predictably frost/blood/unholy color themed items every raid tier. Tend to flip-flop on Unholy being blight green or shadow purple.
OMG 13:37 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Cleave unto me, and I shall grant to thee the blessing of eternal salvation."

And His disciples said unto Him, "Can we get Kings instead?"

I need help on what weapons to use that'd match T18 mythic gear.

Are we even sure which set is the Tier 18 Mythic, yet?

EDIT: I see Wowhead has the 3D models up now. A couple of good matches off the top of my head (2 handers): are Ka'graz's Burning Blade (Mythic) and Voldrethar, Dark Blade of Oblivion, and the new Calamity's Edge (Normal) is a decent match. On the mace side, Maul of Tyranny (Normal) is also nice. I didn't see any axes I thought went well with Tier 18, though.

It also looks like the Tier 18 Mythic armor might possibly mix-and-match well with Tier 16 Mythic pieces.
