So yeah, I used to use Farmer's and got something in the mail saying I'd get a share of this settlement. 13 million other people got the same notice so I'm making out with $35 from this! BOOYAH
Anyone else get the notice and get really excited, and find an article like this one and become immediately unexcited?

I've signed on to a few of these class action settlement notices, and have yet to receive a single check. :-(

Sometimes you get lucky, I got something like $10 from a PacBell settlement once.... a long time ago. On the other hand, I have a friend with a 10 cent check posted on his fridge.
Mostly, these lawsuits just make rich lawyers even richer though.
