So the above image is my background. How does it look? I did not make it, I just want opinions.

And I'm looking for similar alien landscape/planetfall pictures.

I thinks its pretty good for a background image. It doesn't really fit planetfall or alien, seems more weaponry than a landscape to me.

I like space, so this is a sample of my folder of over 100 pictures my backround randomly goes through every 10 seconds. ALL credit goes to the website apod.com. If you have not heard of APOD before, it stands for Astronomy Picture of the Day. For anyone interested in astronomy, I recommend checking out this website. I even downloaded the application for it to my phone which updates my Droid X's background to the current picture daily.

Photoshop Instructions:

1. Black Background
2. Add some light effects
3. Clip a picture of a hot girl. Desaturate. Adjust Levels.
4. Select pen tool. Makes swirls around her. Use paint brush to trace lines. Layer effects inner/outer glow.
5. Google photoshop brushes. Find a fractal pattern. Use it. Apply same layer effects as above.

Did that take all of 10 min and tutorial to do?
