New 5-mans loot?

so i'm kind of curious as to what kind of loot we will see in the new 5-mans in 4.3. With ZA/ZG, they gave us epics that were slightly higher than the heroic dungeons but lower than the raids. Applying that same principle here, it seems like ilvl 365 loot is what we should expect? But then, the MF dailies already give us a bunch of 365s and it seems like the brewfest will also give us 365s (http://www.wowhead.com/event=372) and we also have 378s from current vp rewards, so running those don't seem to give us anything newer/better.

What do you guys think?

359 is what I'm trying to say.

But then, 365 might not be a bad guess either. It's about the same as 346 blues to 353 epics(Epics have a higher iLevel spending, so a blue 346 would be worse than a epic 346) in terms of increase in power.

I'm guessing 365, but it could be 6 item levels either way.

Anything outside of that and I would be very surprised.

thanks for the reply....i really hope that isn't the case though. im assuming that these dungeons would be difficult at first, like ZA/ZG was. but for 359 loot, there would be no motive for anyone to do them. the tier 11 raids drop 359s and most ppl are comfortable doing them with PuGs.

Yeah, the more I think about it the more 365 seems better.

In terms of increase in power, 353 to 365 is about the same as 346 blue to 353 epic. Maybe a bit more, but 353 to 359 is far less than 346-353

I would say 376, as the raid drops will probably be 391 something, and they will make it slightly less appealling than FL stuff (to get ppl to do FL raids still) but competetivie enough to allow people to do the Deathwing raid, but those with FLnormal/HC gear will have a slight advantage.

353 to 376 would be a fairly massive jump for an average player.

The instances would need to be super easy, too...as a 353 player would need to be able to do it(It's a step up from ZA/ZG)

I'd guess 365... Brewfest is soon and Wowhead is listing them as 365, but of course that could just be place holder.

i think the scale of difficulty in za/zg is what they will be shooting for with these new 5's. where a baddie can still slow down 4 good players from nailing the bear timer in ZA, but still not so abusive as to cripple people from wanting to que.
if they did that then they could just add those to the current rise of zandalari que and rename it to heroic tier 2 or some such.
adding an entirely new que category at this point is silly, especially with them wanting to introduced the random raid finder which will most likely include a weekly raid reward. also they want people to earn helm and shoulders at epic quality level (cause of the aesthetic effect those pieces have on the character), they've been very clear about that.
also people are complaining that the rewards for raiding isn't terribly higher then running 5's since u can cap valor that way.

so probably keeping at 352 i lvls or being a bitch about it and putting them at 358 i lvls

i seen a pvp caster dagger listed in trade the other day. it was in the 400 ilvl range plus. the item itself had well over 4000 spellpower on it. this will be just like wotlk the end of an expansion. pugs will be able to clear almost all content and deathwing raid will have a 30 percent buff to those who raid eventually. its the end of the expansion most your hardcore guilds will have the deathwing raid beat in 2 weeks there wont be 1 reason for them to keep playing wow. just so they can start over in the next expansion. so theyll just catter to anyone and everyone whos plays it

365 or 372 I would guess on, assuming the jump in ilvl from this tier to the next is the same as the previous jump. Otherwise who knows.

If they are giving away 365s for just doing dailys then it should be higher than that, but not higher than heroic t11.

It would not surprise me if we saw item levels lands somewhere between 372 and 381. Reasoning being these dungeons will have to tie people over until next expansion. They will want people to be geared at a certain level going into next expansion. The items will be close to the item level of normal Firelands raid bosses.

Going into the next tier of raid content I expect the low tier item level to be 391 or higher. It would not surprise me if it breaks 400 initially.

Note this is based off gut instinct and years of playing/testing WoW since 2004.

I'm guessing 359 tbh, it would make the first tier raids still viable to some extent as people might prefer that gear, but it would be an upgrade from the T2 dungeons, not by much but an upgrade nonetheless.

When normal raids dropped 359, they gave us 353. Which is half a tier down.

The deathwing raid tier item level will be 396 normal and 419 heroic. I'm assuming Deathwing will drop loot half-tier above the rest of the bosses 403/416. (using they're 13 ilvl tier +6/+7 trend)

If these are based off the deathwing raid, I'm guessing 365-375.

I'm thinking 371, its still below H T11, and about even with what we get with JP next patch.
