It's not nearly as rehash as Platinum/Emerald/Yellow/Crystal, it that's what you're thinking.

I just wish they were doing something new with the gameplay or anything beyond the novelty of a 'first sequel' to the first game with a story behind 'be a pokemon master/environmentalist and stop the worst organized crime rings ever.'

Can't wait for their third and final form which will be....... the same thing, but bigger and with a vertical color division instead of horizontal.

Though to be fair, I do like the little bugger. But after five generations there's so many new electric types that not only have better stats, but look cooler, and have wider movepools... that poor face-ball has been forgotten. By me, at least.

I haven't gone back to play the old games in awhile, but I do remember doing that all the time as a kid. Must have, and Butterfree too. I always had a Alakazam too.
