I'm warming to Greninja. Maybe because Delphox looks a lot like the parody someone made of Fennekin's final evo when it was first shown, and Chespin's, from behind, looks like the dinosaur from Rugrats.

The arms stick out way too far to the side. Had they had been pointed more toward the front, it would have been awesome.
Either that or make the arms shorter.
Another thing that bothers me is the lack of ears. Would have loved some spikes on that helmet.

This is what it reminds me of. Except Zudomon had an interesting and unique design, IMO. Also, he looks more...proportionate.

Yeah, but it seems like the majority of Pokemon early on are from prior generations.
Also, according to what I've heard, it's like fairy-type overload in the beginning.

That works just fine for me! Fairy is shaping up to be a pretty solid type, as long as it has some good attacking moves. (Here's hoping Moon Blast is Fairy's version of Surf or something...)

In a way, it kind of reminds me of how Gold and Silver started out; on Route 30 you could only find Hoothoots and Sentrets if you wanted new Pokemon, and Pidgeys, Rattatas otherwise, and north of it you could find Geodudes and Jigglypuffs (later Phanpy's) So I can sort of understand if the first few routes only have Fletchlings or Flabebe's.

And is that a Bagon available early? Dayum.

Edit: Also, since Greninja seems to be pretty damn real, I actually really love it. They went the route I wanted them to, and made a badass Theif/Ninja based Frog.

I haven't seen Fennekin's, if Delphox is real, from the front, but I hope it looks better from the front. I'm not sure about Chespin's. If that's real too.
