Squirtle seems more like a play on all three words. Squirt/Turtle/Squirrel. His name seems more like Squirt+Turtle, but it also has a squirrel-like tail.

Actually, I think it's just meant to show the effects of steroids. See? He firsts starts off with a few bulging veins, then he gets buff and gets a zit on his face. He keeps abusing roids till the zit encompasses his nose, he develops a neanderthal brow, hunches over, and has to hold on to support beams to stand upright.

Every generation has had stupid Pokemon, not just gen. 5.Why has g5 come up with such stupid ones?
I've only ever seen one shiny Pokemon. It was a zubat, and I had no idea it was special...so I killed it.One is soooo many.

I agree, Gen 4 had some horrible ones, as did even Gen 1 if you take off your nostalgia goggles. Jinx was horrible, and a lot of Pokemon were just animals you see in the real world with a slightly different name. Tauros, Seal, Pidgey, etc.. Originally Posted by Duruka
