I can't believe you consider the FUNimation dub to be extremely well done... It's awful lol Unless you mean Kai, which is an improvement over their 3 Z dubs. Sabat is a good VA but when it comes to anything Dragon Ball related, he's shit. Except maybe as Yamcha. Schemmel is mostly just known for his screams and that's it. In Kai he just sounds like he's going through the motions to me too. Like he's just getting through it to collect his cash at the end. FUNimation's Z dubs, and the Ocean dub (which I actually prefer) are all terrible. Kai is the closest we have to a decent English dub and even that has it's problems.

But, as long as you don't tell me that Linda Young was amazing as Frieza, we're cool

Honestly, I prefer the Funimation dub because I grew up with it. Those are some of my favorite memories growing up as a kid, and to me, it just doesn't sound like Goku and Vegeta and Piccolo and everyone if they aren't the Funimation guys (Likewise with other dubs, like Dan Green for Yu-Gi-oh! and Pokemon and such).

Though, I must be honest, I like Kai Frieza over the original dub. Kai still sucks though, no blood and everything is stupid.

Atleast some channels made it Saturday Morning Cartoon -friendly, and removed all blood and references to death.
The unedited version wasn't aired until later, IIRC.

I have been wondering, what would happen if the whole DBZ cast would be caught in a single Earth-Shattering Kaboom? And it would just be the Earth that's going boom, not the whole Universe.
Would they try to undo the damage and resurrect everyone, or would they just be content to keep on "living" in the afterlife, since they are all there anyways?

After seeing how Vegeta was treating Trunks, he probably thought something along the lines of "I'm not going to demean my son like that. I'll give encouragement."

Saw all of them, though didn't remember the food part until the second time.

Took me a moment to remember the doctors they mentioned. I remembered Dr. Wheelo, but got Dr. Flappe mixed up with Dr. Slump.

Something odd occurred to me. Android 19 had his body destroyed, but his head was left intact. He died. Gero was decapitated and 16 had his body destroyed, but both of them remained fully conscious until their head was destroyed.

Edit: Never mind, looked back and checked, 19's brain-case broke.

I don't like 17's voice that much. It's a little whiny. But I like the characters. I guess so far, they haven't stray from their personalities in the real show. Only more sarcastic, like any other character would be.

When we first heard the voice, I was about to start raging that they decided to give him a robotic voice. I'm glad that was just a joke. His actual voice kind of reminds me of Jan Valentine from Hellsing Abridged.
