Upgrade or buy new?

I am at the moment in time where my computer isn't living up to what I need it for. I bought it 3 years ago with a Intel dual core 3.0 ghz processor, 4gigs of DDR2 ram, and I upgraded the GPU to a nvidia GTX 460 for the Cataclysm release. I am wondering if now is a good time to upgrade the processor and mobo or will there be some new ones released in the coming months?

The only new CPU around the corner is AMD's "Bulldozer" platform which is only supposed to compete with intel's sandy bridge. Soooo you're better off getting something like an i5 2500 (2500k if you're planning to overclock (which would generally require an aftermarket cooler)). You also forgot to include new RAM :]

Yeah I got 8 gigs of DDR3 lying around the house that I plan on using.
