Mage Tier 13 and Visual Retrospective

Well, I'm officially jealous of mages for the first time ever. I love the whole steampunk aesthetic. And now here you guys come along with gears on your shoulders. GEARS! I want gears! Also, I think I've figured out the theme of this tier:

All the "big players" in the Deathwing story, which includes:
The 5 Aspects (we've seen 2 so far)
Thrall (shaman gear instantly made me think of him)
The faceless ones (Warlock)
The Twilights Hammer cult
The Druidic factions (Avengers of Hyjal, Malfurion and his friends, hence the very basic "druidic" theme of the Druid set)
And possibly the Shadow Wardens (Rogue gear maybe?)

firstly since when engineering fits mages? aint like magic and science 2 different worlds?
However even forgetting science vs magic thing...this set looks like wood+leather...
where are the designers from vanilla and tbc ?:S

Transmog the headpiece with one of the high-collar pieces of the old sets, and you have a Gallifreian suit. You can now drezz for the occasion!

Okay, I ignored the coincidences in the other sets...

but after this, surely someone else might think that these sets seemed to have been designed for the Vashj'ir raid that never came to pass?

The shading of the warlock and druid sets cried out "underwater", and now Mages get something straight out of BioShock. Even if you just consider it "steampunk", the blue mist on the shoulders and the light from the goggles don't help.
