VICTORY OF LIGHT IS ALLIANCE GUILD ON THE MAELSTROM AND WE'RE RECRUITING FOR OUR 25M TEAM TO PROGRESS FURTHER IN FIRELANDS

The Victory of Light is an Alliance Raiding Guild on The Maelstrom. The Guild has it's origins on Mazrigos, we formed in Summer 2010 starting off as a loose collection of casual players, enjoying the content and leveling together. This helped generate and maintain strong bonds within the Guild. By September 2010, we exploded on to the Raiding scene and made rapid progress through WOTLK content. At that time, there were a rare few Alliance Raiding Guilds on Mazrigos and whilst we started later than many we are pleased to have become one of the leading Guilds within the Alliance in both Raid progression and PVP. We moved to The Maelstrom in March 2011 in order to further realise our ambitions to move into 25 man raiding.

Our progress is 6/7 [10m] Normal and 7/7 Normal 1/7 HC [25m].

What are we looking for in a member?
* You are a active player. A 85% Monthly Attendance (10/12 of the mandatory raids)
* At least a minimum of 12/12 normal progress previous tier (BEFORE the nerf that is), if you don't have that you might aswell stop reading.
* You are always prepared when you join our raids with food, flasks and potions.
* You got knowledgement about your class and its abilities.
* You also have good knowledge of other classes and abilities, and how they work with your class.
* You have raidexperience and that you have read and understood the tactics for progress bosses / bosses you haven't done before.
* You have the gear to progress in normal raids and soon heroic.
* Your gear is properly gemmed, reforged and enchanted.
* You are a mature player with common sense and a good friendly attitude.
* You don't have any problems with talking, writing and understanding English .
* You can stay focused for raids and be able to listen to raid leaders on Mumble.
* You have no problems with joining our Mumble.
* You know how to handle (constructive) criticism.
* You are a teamplayer.
* You have a stable internet connection and a computer that can handle 3 hours of raiding.

We are currently recruiting:

Tanks: Closed.
Healers: 1 healer with a DPS os. Pref. Paladin
DPS: 1 Warlock, 1 Ele Shaman and 1 Boomkin.
BEWARE that these are all Core Raiding Positions.

Although, Exeptional Applications will always be looked at and maybe considered regarding a Trialspot.

Our raid day's and times (server time) are:
Wednesday: 21:00 (20:45 invites) - 00:00
Sunday: 21:00 (20:45 invites) - 00:00
Monday: 21:00 (20:45 invites) - 00:00
Tuesday:(Optional Clear Night) 21:00 (20:45 invites) - 00:00

It is mandatory that you can attend all 3 raid nights, with preferance given to those who can attend the optional raidnight aswell.
