If Luna is Princess of the Night, does that mean she sleeps during the day?

And if so does that make her an owl.

Only time we've ever really seen her in show was at night time. And we never saw her when the Mane Six went to Canterlot Castle during the day for episodes 1 and 2.

So I'd assume she's a night owl.

The only fanfic I have ever read was Bluesparks' Black and White. I tried to write my own story two weeks ago, but I am not sure why I didn't continue it. It just felt like it got so much bigger than I wanted it to be. 19 pages in and I wasn't even half way through my story. Maybe it is just something that will be long and I should continue with it and finish just so I can say I have done it.
