doooohhh, why can't card games just be simple one time pay things.

It seems like all these card games that you play on video games are just trying to sneak you with money. I tried Magic the Gathering on my PS3, and it was really fun, but they expect you to constantly pay for cards, and extra DLC ALL the time! So I got over that...

Then PSN gave me a new card game that's only a dollar called Elemental Monsters online or whatever. It's really cool so far and I really like it, and it's not nearly as DLC heavy as Magic the gathering is... It still is a little though. To play online ranked matches you have to use a ticket. You have to buy tickets with money. And when you win a ranked match you get special cards you can't normally get in single player.

Bleh I say. You can play with friends online for free of course, but I'm not sure if you can get special cards from it. I'll try and find a way around it without paying, but if I can't then thats kind of lame.

I have no issue with Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalker. There's DLC's, but for the 2012 version of the game it's only one, and the rest can be earned by just playing the game. Then again, all games nowadays want to screw money out of you by forcing you to buy a short ass game then make you pay extra for extra content.

Went to a Gamestop recently. Their PS2 games were sitting in a bin, no cases, out of order. Instead of digging through the layers of shit, I just asked the guy if they had what I was looking for. They didn't.
