Patch 9.2 - The Darkmoon Faire Dance Game
Patch 9.2 brings a new addition to the Darkmoon Faire World Event: The Darkmoon Faire Dance Game!
The rules of the game are simple, you have to copy the Dance Master's moves when it's your turn to earn points. There are three difficulties you can choose from:
Just something fun and easygoing! (3 Moves)
I'd like a little challenge! (4 Moves)
Show me your moves, don't hold back! (5 Moves)
After the Dance Master shows the moves, you will have to match them in the same order by using the buttons in the action bar:

Let the "this is not the dance studio we were promised" comments flow in 3, 2, 1...
I find it far more likely someone's gonna bitch about legendary balance or keystone tuning or something and "why the devs gonna work on THIS when *insert temporary feature here* is still BUSTED! Blizzard doesn't KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEIR PLAYERBASE!"
As I already said, it's at least stylistically suitable for darkmoon faire, in contrast to idiocy that was "placed" into auction house.

ps. And I even managed to delete 2nd part of message minute later after it appeared, because information was more redundant, rather than talking about something (general content was: nothing bad, it's okay; but even if such could "hook" someone, then something is really wrong with game and its audience), but I'm glad that you got it in complete state

While also complaining about how *insert name of world event* never gets updated anymore.

Well... it's not. We were """"promised"""" a system for costumising the /dance emote, not a shitty minigame that looks extremely campy and cumbersome in 2022.

...also mwahaha about another "extraordinary" X.1/2-patch feature *feels of selfie camera flashback coming*
That was super cool and ULTRA impressive of you to "remind us" about that one time you said something about a dancing mini game. You really showed us!! and I guess we should have listened?
and That's a shame you feel a selfie flashback coming, as this is nowhere comparable. We're getting an entire new zone and raid, whereas the "content" of the patch that the selfie camera came out in just basically revolved around just giving us the stupid camera and Twitter integration. But again, really...THANK YOU for reminding us all you said something about the dance game. We're all sitting here clapping.

Nah clearly this is actually the hidden training for the unique raid mechanic for the Mythic version of the Jailer's encounter called "Dance Till You Are Dead" which is an escalation of the ball room dancing mechanic from Castle Nathria but instead this time you have to successfully "Bust a Move" to stop the constant health drain, "Pump up the Jamz" to keep Azeroth's Azerite and Spirit levels high and finally "Dance on their Grave" to deal the final blow to Zovaal who will ultimately be too humilated to remake reality. All completely necessary raid preparation. /s

If you’re still holding out for a feature last listed before WotLK came out and are angry that it’s still not in… that’s on you buddy
You know, FF14 at least made a class out of this, just sayin'.
Also, I love how they're not shy about making WoW all goofy and whacky. "Chicken dance", really? If somebody is up on a stage, in front of a crowd, asked to "show their moves", the last move I would bust out would be a "chicken dance."
It's okay and even good for wow to have some more optional distractions. My complaint would be more along the lines that after all this time it's only this much it amounted to.
Wow... 1 student probably made this in 2 evenings.
Achievements like 'do this "fun" thing 30 times everyday' are just pathetic.
There are light effects, and fog effects, and particle animations, and model edits, and camera movements, new UI, and new music. So no, stop whining already, mini games are meant to be just that, mini games.
Complaining just for the sake of complaining is just pathetic.

I couldn't care less, I am just stating facts.
You can't expect people who still wait for that feature to be shut and satisfied by the addition of this mini game.
The original comment mocks people for no reason, because their argument isn't valid in any way.

And out of the features in there, only like 2 are actually any entertaining to do more than twice.
