That's because the "old" raid trailers were patch cinematics, which this isn't. That said, 9.2 didn't get one such - which is wierd. At least not a proper one, which even 9.1 did.

Reminds me of the Dragon Soul trailer.

I felt nothing.

Okay, maybe a sound of the footsteps of the players running towards Jailer in 00:49 made me cringe a little.

Video like these requires some voice-overs and epic musics during the fight scenes. This one is just objectively bad.

What a weird video

53 seconds...roughly the same amount what they spent to make it....

You are wrong, 9.2 has a launch trailer, made from in-game footage and other cinematics footage like every other trailer since Pandaria.



They also released this one.



As much trailers and cinematics as 9.1, 9.0 or any other modern patch.

Did their music team leave too?

I get its trendy to hate on anything blizz related these days,but cmon,lets atleast not make up stuff,the lore and story elements have been far more plentiful than in the past....vanila had no lore,atleast not presented ingame,tbc was a fanfic nonsensical mess,wotlk was MUH ARTHUZ,recent expansions have been presenting it far more and richly,your personal dislike being irelevant

Yes, so did every patch in Shadowlands - a launch trailer, coupled with intro cinematic or quest cinematic. I literally linked some.

They too are fully rendered.
