I enjoyed the more "alien" feel of Shadowlands for awhile. However, now I am excited to get back to a more traditional "warcraft" feeling expansion. Beta has been really fun to dabble around with without spoiling everything it holds. Cant wait for launch.

Kind of thinking this will be the case, as well. Especially since they said all three raids will be Fated at the same time at one point.

Kinda sucks that the season ends when the new talents arrive, assuming the rumours about pre-patch on the same date. I was hoping me and my buddies could play around with the talent changes in M+ Gonna be a really boring month before DF…

Still no news about the pre-patch event. Haven't really seen anything on PTR or beta apart from the one quest in orgrimmar/stormwind where the questgiver says he's preparing an expedition and you have to talk to some npc but no further quest. We know that we'll get revamped Uldaman for pre-patch and evoker if you pre-ordered but is there anything else?

Also scaling on PTR still hasn't changed. Mob health is still more or less the same as on live while most specs do about half the dps so soloing rares gets harder (zm rares are very hard to solo at 298 ilvl that melt currently on live). Mage tower is impossible with you doing roughly the same dps but bosses having about 80% more HP. Arms challenge was already a rough dps check but with the increased HP it's impossible. Didn't check dungeons and can't check raids on PTR so no clue how hard or easy they'll be with pre-patch.

Also there are still some bugs. As warrior, if you unlock spear of bastion in your class tree and are kyrian you also unlock spear from covenant which is useable outside of SL content. Everything else is disabled but you have double spear. Don't know if it's the same for other classes that can talent into their covenant abilities.

Actually, yes. The nextm patch drops when teh season ends. You are confusing the two week warning with an actual announcent date of season ending.

That is always the way it works with every single pre-patch and every single major patch drop.

Can anyone confirm/deny this will be the cut off for getting the mythic+ dungeon mount? Oct 25? Or can you still get it up to DF launch, like the slime cat?

The KSM mount will become unavailable on Oct. 25 with the pre-patch; the blue post says that that is when Season 4 ends.

A blue has also said that the slime cat is only available S4, but still obtainable after S4 ends because people have asked. This is me asking about the more important mount in the same context. I would like confirmation preferably with a source if possible.

Keystone Master mount will 100% be unavailable when the season ends. Same with the PvP mount, PvP sets etc. Has always happened this way.

Fated raids will stay a thing during pre patch just like usual end tier raids do, and I imagine this is when all 3 raids will be fated. With slime cat being tied to completing fated raids, it probably will still be available but honestly, I would get it before just in case, you never know.

You will still be able to do fated raids during the pre-patch, but when the m+ season ends on the 25th, you'll be entirely unable to do any m+ content.

Thus you can still get the slime cat, but you won't be able to get the S4 m+ mount.
