This is so much less enjoyable to watch than the MDI...can't see anything if the screen is split like this into four parts.

Watch on a bigger screen. It's in 4K so you have 1080p for every of the four parts.

Love watching hp bars slowly going down. Something really satisfying when they also sometimes go up, especially in such a ruthless competitive hp bar draining tournament

If you bought a TV anytime in the last 5 years you most likely have a 55" or bigger 4K TV capable of showing youtube out of the box. If you actually watch the event why would you do it on your computer?

I sit just about half a meter (2ft) away from my PC monitor (27") and about 3m (10ft) away from my TV screen (48", 4k). If I get 3m away from my Monitor I can't read a thing. If I get to 0.5m to my TV screen I can't see the whole thing. I imagine that this is a general setup for most people. So I don't think your solution is all that good.

Watch on your TV and sit where you normally sit to watch TV. Why would you get 0.5m close to your TV screen?

I really enjoy the diversity of classes and the specialization setups this time. It's a great indicator of how the game changes for the better. We never ever had a more diverse representation so far. Balancing is flawless. Please keep on doing that.

Also the game is very balanced.

If you push keys higher than everyone else you'll take a class even if it is only 0.01% better than the next. As will every other team. Outside of classes having literally the same spells balancing can not be good enough to have different comps at the cutting edge of dungeoneering.

Doesn't really take away much of the weight of the argument in itself.

Regarding the diversity of environments the participants have to compete in and since it's not just 8x freehold but dungeons with different dungeon dynamics you should at least expect SOME sort of diversity, especially when you say "only 0,01% better".

And I am safe to get the seasonal title on live myself and I am not far away from pushing above 3.5k this season so I guess I somehow know what you are implying & what I'm talking about here.

Don't know what your point is here. There will always be a "0,01% better" and a "best pick" but it never was as ridiculous as this season and I think it's legit to criticize that. You'd expect to see at least one or two spec changes regarding different dungeon dynamics. As a developer you should aim for at least some sort of a more diverse representation - this has always been a big critique.

Because you can't actually recognize something if it's only 1/4 of the intended size

Because, exactly as you said, a 55'' ZV becomes 4 27'' screens. Are you sitting that far from a 27 inches screen ? Who sits more than 1m away of their PC screens ?
You can't even follow your own logic. I'm amazed.

I absolutely is legit to criticize, in fact we should feel OBLIGATED to complain about this. I'm completely on board with the argument that even tiny differences would make top players take something better, but these are NOT tiny differences. Balance is fucked right now. No question about that.

Yes it'll never be perfect balance, and yes it's always only a matter of degrees... but those degrees are fucked right now. This isn't .01% bleeding-edge optimization. This is one choice crushing everything else you'd ever consider.

Troll or sarcastic comment spotted. I refuse to believe this is serious.

Melee heavy tuning does produce more viable and competing group compositions, just because of the different AoE strengths and pull requirements alone.

As soon as range heavy is meta, its allways game over for viable combos.

The game is allways extremly boring in M+ and raid if melee is not slightly dominant, because nearly every mechanic is easier to handle with more range DPS, with either less pressure for the heal or simply more uptime.

Honestly, wasnt that interesting until one of the teams cheated by being advised to run a higher key one of the casters and then even failed to benefit from it. With blizzard releasing balance changes in between the cups, goes to show how much they care for it having any competitive integrity anyway.
