Um this comes as a surprise to NO ONE who is in beta. Beta has been far to buggy over the last month with little to no changes of that. Cata should have been released in July thats why people are upset. They are extremely bored with a game they love to play but have no motivation to play.

Stop this stupid discussion, that you can farm Cataclysm gear with Wrath expansion. Just because their name are the same doesnt mean they will act the same. Actually they are closer to Arena point behavior than old emblem behavior.
So, to conclude this rant.
Nobody could get anything good going from BurningCrusade to Wrath, most likely your hero point will reset when you lvl from 80 to 81, like your arena points will.

This is wrong according to the blue posts. To quote from a blue post regarding Justice points:

Justice Points are the lower tier of the two PvE currencies. When this change hits they'll be used for pretty much everything. In Cataclysm terms you'll be able to buy level 85 heroic dungeon gear with them. Same item level as level 85 heroic boss drops. But Valor, the higher tier currency, will buy tier 11.

No, Justice will always buy the tier below the top tier at the time. So when new content comes out (4.1?) Valor will be used to buy the new tier (12?) and Justice will be used to buy the tier below, the 85 heroic items, and everything else.

Yes this does mean tier 10 is easier to get right before the expansion comes out. Enjoy them, you'll be replacing them as you level. And you can certainly stockpile your 4000 points and use them to buy a heroic level item or two at level 85! WOOOO!

So you CAN actually save the frost and triumph emblems and use that to help buy level 85 items. The points will NOT reset when you get level 81 or whatever. This information has been available for almost 2 weeks now.

I assume it will also not be possible to farm level 80 heroics when you are level 85. To qoute more from the same blue post:

At this time any bosses a player defeats that are level-appropriate to them (and previously awarded badges or emblems upon defeat) will award them with the new Justice Points.

Notice the word "level-appropriate". I would not call doing level 80 heroics at level 85 as "level-appropriate".

Put me down on the list of people who are actually pretty pleased with the delay. My guild is still working on 10man Lich King and we'd love to down him before the expansion (better yet, before 4.0.3). I also still have a long way to go on my Loremaster achievement for my hunter, so the more time the better (yeah, I could just continue completing the achievement in the new version of Azeroth, but where's the fun in that?)

I'm very annoyed about removing the portals from Dalaran, though. I fully intended to set all of my hearthstones there because:

1) It's an incredibly beautiful and well designed city that actually feels bustling and lively (am thinking of the different shopping districts, the toy store, etc), and I love the music.
2) I frigging HATE the idea of the Alliance and Horde at war and wanted to "reside" in a place where they still coexist reasonably peacefully and I can /wave at passing Alli. An anti-war demonstration of sorts, if you will. To be honest, they really REALLY should have made Theramore a neutral city (it makes sense with the lore, as Jaina respects and likes both Alliance and Horde and does not want them to fight at all).

Now with the portals gone, that's going to make my life a lot more difficult and inconvenient. -_-

Unfortunately for you if it comes out in 2010 i don't see it coming out any later than Dec 7. Any later and your asking for holiday trouble. But i don't expect it till Jan. I think blizz expects that as well but they won't say it until the last possible moment.

Good, I have for the moment and so should more people. Seriously people say the game is still not ready yet, "hey multi-million dollar company, deliver". I'm so glad they are not getting my money right now while they release piddly things like taking echo isles that takes 15 minutes (watched a friend) but then gives nothing, a raid that is pretty much a harder OS, and a brewfest where they couldn't even bother to recolor a freaking mug.

Except they wont. Right now, two zones out of 5 already have teleports to and from Org/SW (and there are three more closed ports, not sure if those will be for zones or BGs), Org is start of Vashjir, Hyjal and Uldum questing, SW for the Vashjir atleast, havent leveled alliance toon that much. the only reason i can see people setting HSs in these zones is for quick dailies, but that leaves you with long travel times to everywhere else. As a Hordie, I see very little reason to actually go to capital city while questing and I see very little reason to have HS for example in Uldum, because the zone is over in 6-10 hours of questing and its far away from everywhere. having HS in Org for me means only that if Im actually on Kalimdor (say Uldum) and want to get to EK quickly, Ill HS to Org and take a zepp right next to new FP in Brill instead of porting to Dal, going UC and taking FP from there. The only small inconvenience is the Org>UC trip. I have no doubt majority of player base will make their HS in the most convenient place (Org/SW) instead of some Nowheresville at the edge of the continent.

blizzard should negotiate its release date around the various finals dates of its player base?

I've trolled through all the posts and i was wondering if anyone knows how many JP's will be dropping in each heroic? as if 2200 for a chest is the price, and they only drop one per boss, it's going to be stupid running HC after HC to farm them..

I have been reading the last 20minutes and the only thing that I see is people crying about PVP stats and how's ppl going to grind them or many ppl will have advantage because they will have points stored etc.

Well for everyone who did not thought of it : Did you actually believe that pvp items will be released with cataclysm?>_> Blizzard never done that they always postpone pvp season/items. So no worries the game will not be as TBC.

But certainly, people who will play afterwards the release of the pvp content will find it difficult to get items, because by then geared ppl will have swarned in rated BGs and will be killing all the newbies/low geared.

Finally, (sorry for the textwall), everyone blames Blizzard for (probably) postponing the release date. Well, Blizzard never announced anything, so they dont have to apologise for anything and for ppl crying about playing 3more months of ICC just stop the subscription , its easy.
