Shaman Tier 13 and Visual Retrospective

The best shaman sets are a mix of the animal and the elemental. This tier combines huge wolf-skull shoulder pads, bone fetishes, and fur with glowing shards of amber crystal. The entire set is lashed together with lengths of rope and heavily stitched leather, which lends the set a savage bearing.

Good job Blizzard, make the MAIL (chain-link) class wear heavy stitched leather, tied together with rope with bones coming out of our heads for comical relief. Shamans are more of a mix of the elements than animals, this seems to be a very primitive / caveman'esqe look. Please go ruin another classes tier13 now...

It was looking really good with the Warrior then Warlock then Druid tier13s, I was excited to see what awesome look they had for Shamans, instead Shamans get something that looks like it came from the B.C. comic strip from the news paper. WTFG.

i think it looks sweet, so far im liking all tier 13...cant wait to see priest

Looks pretty awesome, but thats on a horde toon. Seeing a draenei with that, thats are just kind of lame. : / Dwarf might go well, though I still think its to 'primitive' with all the bones to fit them really. But on horde, especially orcs, it seem to suit like a glove!

One day the villagers got tired of grumpy old shaman orc who always talked about the earth. So they rolled him in tar beeing short on feather they pushed him into a nearby fozzil digsite, he was never seen again but they heard he went to Orgrimmar where he inspired the next generation of shaman clothing.

Once I thought T10 was the Shaman's worse set.

This set just went and crapped all over that idea.

Thankfully transmogrification comes in 4.3 so neither my Dwarf nor my Goblin shaman will be caught dead in that crap.

Amen. As a shaman player for 5 years, this is not the worst set ever (I'm lookin' at you, Tier 2.5) but it is the most hideous in a long time. I wish we could return to the days of Tier 5 and 6 (very elemental, very cool looking). Even Tier 8, 9, and 10 weren't so bad. But this? Really? T13 is just ... so underwhelming. Sorry, but that's just a seasoned shaman's opinion. 'Tis ugly and not in the least bit intimidating.

I. Fucking. LOVE the set. That's actually one of the best looking tier sets ever made, definately the best for Shamen.

I love that the opinions on this set vary from it being 100% awesome to ZOMG SUCKZORZ!!!1!!1 In my personal opinion it isn't necessarily the worst set but then again it isnt the best ever. For me its kinda just in between. IMO 1, 3/7, 9, and 11 look far worse.
