Amazing cinematic, loved how the he smiles when he forces the Horde and Ally to fight together. Also how he blows the "mists" away to reveal Pandaria.

Imho this is up there with Vanilla and Wrath as one of WoW's best cinematics.

I absolutely loved this cinematic. I've decided to not really pay much heed to the 'haters' of it, since they all seem rather jaded and insistent on its 'childlike' qualities.

The way they're animated.. the fluid, the gritty. The message the Pandaran sends in such a small amount of time is perfect. He lets that orc and human know he's not afraid to defend his land AND his people (Fixing the lamp, not fighting to kill, etc.), and wasn't afraid to show them that fighting like that can destroy such beautiful things of nature and history. He expresses his beliefs as a pandaren loud and clear, and I love it.

The amount of humor in this video is perfect too, from the human realising it was kind've silly to use a good knife/sword to sharpen a flimsy stick, to the Pandaren shocking the orc and human with his level of skill and compassion for the things around him. I don't understand why people get so fanny-flustered about this; Warcraft/Blizz has ALWAYS had humor and, I hate to break it to you 'mature' gamers, but humor=/= childish. (Also? Kung Fu Panda 2 is kickass, not to mention the fact it came -after- the pandaren, so stop saying they're kung fu panda inspiried, really, it's getting old.)

The right amount of fighting, mixed with the main theme of the expansion, touched with Blizz's amazing cinematic skills? I'd say this blows Cata's out of the water, and certainly makes it more interesting than BC's. I haven't been this pumped since the Wotlk cinematic, can't wait. <3

It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but I liked it nonetheless. I suspect the Alliance guy giving his weapon back to the Orc was a slight and subtle foreshadowing of the final raid against Garrosh. There will be a lot of water under the bridge before that happens though. Good cinematic.

More often than not they mostly post in the GW2 forum as well, go figure. LOL

I can name good and not-so-good things about every cinematic, but there will always be these lowly ones who can never say anything but "This sucks, X was better". How sad to be unable to appreciate anything new!

go figure, you keep talking shit.

I might like GW2, and i might not like this trailer, i still like WoW too, you're constantly judgemental of every one with an opinion that opposes yours.

I swear, if I see this statement one more time in my natural life, it will be too soon.

Chen had a place in an entire campaign of Warcraft 3. The same campaign that made Rexxar so famous and generally awesome. If Pandaran are invalidated, Rexxar is invalidated, and that isn't ok. This is also the same campaign that introduced Vol'Jin. The campaign that established Orgrimmar for what it is, for crap's sake. It's not a little side thing, or a hidden easter egg. It's not like the deadly super penguin easter egg, nor is it something you'd have to click on an NPC a hundred times to learn about.

People aren't pissed that Blizzard is making WoW something it shouldn't be. They're pissed because Blizzard has always made Warcraft something that they don't want it to be.

If there's anything to genuinely be disappointed about, it's that we didn't get to see any of the Sha in this cinematic, since that could have been very cool indeed.

While I give credit to the WOTLK cinematic for emotional gravitas, the Cataclysm cinematic was not all that special. This one is way better at telling an actual story and getting back to the roots of the game series.

i liked the cinematic, but it definitely gave off a much different vibe 25 seconds after the panda showed up lol.

The cinematic was great. Though I will always love the WoTlK one as I am a big Arthas nerd. I do most certainly like it more than the one for Cata.

To those who continue this expansion as childish, Do not judge this book by its cover. What lies within is far from childish, you need to understand the concept of build-up , if they go all out face roll war from the get-go, it might lose some of its meaning. The start of this expansion is that war heating up, the patches that follow will be the hell of war you are expecting to see. Meditate on this.

No longer looking forward to MoP.
No offense man, but you seriously do not get the reference they are putting out for the cinematic.....If you read/tested anything, you would know that when you first are on Pandaria it has a kinda of a happy-go-lucky feel to it, until certain things cause darkness to descend upon the land. If you are going to complain/troll about this game and how "no longer looking forward to MoP" at least make an informed decision and not base it off of a trailer.

Very good trailer, my second favorite of all time. I like it and give it 5 stars. It has meaning and sets the right mood for the expansion. Actually the only trailer that doesn't do that is Cataclysm to me.

    Wrath > Mists > BC > Cata/Classic

I think the cinematic is absolutely brilliant, Blizzard has managed to once again raise the bar.
Oh and for the ones whining about how unlikely it is, that horde and alliance set aside their differences on a battlefield, to tackle something they deem a greater threat.

So we would appreciate, not to see such dumbfounded nonsensical comments again. And you can also avoid looking like a biased little wrathbaby.

Awesome, and as always with that Blizzard sense of humour. Can't wait! Finally an expansion with a deeper theme than zombies or dragons ^^.
