Update: The Warforged Nightmare is now on the shop site!

Warforged Nightmare - Available Now In-Game Through the Shop
It looks like the Warforged Nightmare isn't available on the website yet, but it appears to be live in game in the US. This mount costs $30, which is $5 more than the usual $25 price.

Using the item that comes in the mail will give you the Nightmarish Hitching Post, which can be used to gain a buff that makes all of your mounts look like the Warforged Nightmare for the next 20 minutes.

I get they want to make money, but don't you want to earn this mount instead? I bought the star pony day one, and have bought 3 other shop mounts, but don't you think its a little disheartening to see yet another mount accessible only to those willing to spend half a game's worth or two months subscription just for a mount? I think you forgot what it means to voice your opinion when you yourself seem to value other's so little.

We still do, ever look at a store mount and not think it looks incredibly retarded on a level 20 picking their nose?

while surrounded by 50 other people on it picking theirs?

I dunno I got the bat as a gift, and I only ever seen to get impressed whispers on my pheonix, that one was free

There are mounts in game that can be obtained by finishing content... So yeah we still do work for our mounts. All of them... no but most.

Cost you 15$ to access the servers and then cost you ingame gold/time technically wasn't free.

TL;DR for all the comment above, and under mines:

"OMG BLIZZ, U SUK! I QUIT WOW NOW!"
"STOP WASTING WOD RESOURCES BLIZZ, EVERY TIME ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES BLINKS WE LOOSE A RAID TIER!"
"BWIZZARD IS A GWEEDY CORPOWATE BUSINESS AND N E 1 WHO DISAGWEES IS A BIG DUM FANBOY. NO EXCEPTIONS!"

I'm disappointed, but im not PMSing over this stuff. It's REALLY not that big a deal, these mounts have no impact on the game and do not take resource away from WoD or any other part of WoW. I could've sworn the Nightmare would be RAF and Reaver would be store bought, but oh well, just a missed opportunity imo lets move on now kids.

According to blizzard basically everything they do will take away from a raid tier and use that as a lame ass excuse so as long as blizzard is using that excuse to not make anything we can use that same excuse in the opposite way when they do make something.

If everyone has a sparkle pony then everyone has a sparkle pony. They can choose not to "use" it but they still have one. In the case of wow anyway.

We need some of the store site developers to help the raid developers out. Evidently they know how to release something new and exciting.

Did I miss something: Does RAF need anymore mounts?

Another great looking mount, which in my opinion is wasted by placing it in the store. Charging $30 for it? Just a little depressing.

What feels worse is that I'm actually paying Blizzard to get away with this crap when I disagree with it at such a fundamental level. I'm close to qutting, I'm sure I am! Come on Blizzard, one more mistep, that's all I need to be free!

Can't you trade ingame gold to someone for it? So you still can earn it.

Looks like it took more than the combined art resources for DS to make that.

This clearly isn't an intelligent point though because Blizzard clearly don't want your money and aren't milking you, they just want to help you to get to 250 mounts
What says it's the same team? What says they won't do it eventually? What about druids make them so special that they should get new models? New models affect druid players, not the entire community. And, quite frankly, it doesn't bring them money fast like a store item does.

And no, Blizzard aren't milking me, since I'm an adult and as such can decide what I want to do with my money. If I want to spend 25 euro (not a lot) on pixels or 150 + 100 on dinner and a movie, that's up to me...the pixels will last longer though. If I didn't want it, I wouldn't purchase it. Same goes for pets and the transmog helmets, far from everyone buys them all. Just because you repeat something in a sarcastic tone, doesn't make it true nor does it make you clever. Hint.

Again, pissy people being angry about silly stuff, THAT is the point of all this. If we hadn't been in a content holdup right now, people like you would have found other reasons for being angry over other people spending cash on something YOU don't deem worthy of it. Tough luck, you don't decide over other people. QQ more seems to be the theme here, so fitting.

I see. It's only a good mount if others don't have it and you get whispers. *cough*snowflake*cough*

No more or no little than the store does. Why?

Nothing wrong with that viewpoint, even if you don't agree.
