Garrison Campaign Quests Active
Garrison Campaign quests are now active and the one you get each week appears to be random.

One option you may get is from Khadgar's Servant in your garrison, which sends you to Shadowmoon Valley for a short quest chain that rewards Sargerei Disguise (which is not a Toy).

I can't get my head around this at all, as much as I'd love to believe that WoW is experiencing massive growth again. What's with the exact amount of 10 million subs even? It's over 10 million, but how much? It must be between 10.000.000 and 10.100.000 then looking at the old data. But how has it ended up (exactly enough) at 10 million subs multiple times? Is that really just a coincidence? Or is it something like: ''Once we reach 10 million subs, we will announce it.''?

I also find it hard to believe that 66,66% of WoW's population is still subbed but did not buy the expansion yet. How was this in the past? Was it the same ratio for WotLK, TBC, etc.? When looking at the people I know, 90% of them bought WoD and then there are one or two people who didn't buy it, but not a massive 66,66%. It's like 50% of the player-base paying their subscription every month, but just not playing the game or something? Are we dealing with a form of 'donating' by like 50% of the player-base?

    I'm bloody confused...

Im afraid they work just fine... i havent had any massive issues with them, relogging always worked if i got stuck.
As of today there has been absolutely no issues with garrisons... nothing, even during peak hours theres no stucks or issues on my realm.

My guild and i have been doing dungeons multiple times a day... they arent broken either.

So much for that bell curve graphic all the WoW haters always link in threads about the "lifecycle of a product"

Certain regions don't buy expansions, like the East for example. It has been said.

    Awesome news.

    This is an awesome expansion.

2 million more and they will have regained their subscriber base since WotLK. I didn't expect subs to increase to be honest. Either way, GJ.

As far as I know, the 3.3 million only includes the Americas, EU and Australia/NZ. The far east doesn't purchase expansions separately.

I don't think that's entirely accurate, or fair to MoP. People who quit (in Cata, for example) have only the vaugest idea of what's currently going on in-game. It takes good word of mouth, among other things, to get them to be willing to come back and check things out.

While MoP certainly had its flaws (rep gating, dailies), and things that didn't appeal to some players (Pandas & Pokemon), it did a lot of nifty things, too. I think it had the best world design since vanilla, possibly better.

I have played 12-16 hours a day since WoD came out, and I can safely say this is already my favorite expansion. For the first time ever I'm doing pvp and actually liking it. The dungeons are pretty fun. I'm really excited for raiding. The thing that ties it all together for me though is the Garrisons. They really make the world feel alive. I mean, I've been back to Stormwind 3 times since the expansion launched, and that was for about 5 minutes each time. No more afking in capital cities for me; I'm actually out in the world doing stuff.

Also, I just spent the last 3 hours killing people on a bridge in Ashran. We won.

Not everyone is a day one buyer of expansions. This has always been the case.

    Holy. Shit.

I guess that explains how they underestimated the amount of players trying to log in on launch day.

Well done, Blizzard! I think this expansion has the potential to bring back what used to make this game great.

"WoD MIGHT break 8 million subs... if lucky. I expect it to drop to 5 million by the end of the expansion"

    LOL at all the knobs.

I canceled my account and got a refund on my preorder of WOD after I was prevent from playing by blizzard locking my server. I didn't preorder WOD to sit in a queue all day and be prevented from playing.

I wonder how many others did the same.

There are a few million gamers like me, we fly through, gobble up content rapidly, get bored and find a new game.

Rest are Asia sub which they don't have to buy expansions.

EDIT: Asia market for MMO is pretty nice, they don't buy expansions, they don't pay subs, solely paid by hours played, so if you want to make money off them, you HAVE to make them wanting to play the game.
