Update (8:00 PM EST): According to the official post, all US and EU emails have gone out.
Update: Added official information. EU emails are starting to go out. There are a few reports of players getting one with small lapses in their subscription.

Gift to Veteran Players: Orc Wolf Rider Mini-Statue
The first people have started receiving their veteran gifts! The statue is an orc riding a wolf; it is a miniature version of the one located outside the Blizzard HQ. Credit to @thebl4ckd0g for the picture of the statue itself and Smitti for the picture of the inscription on the base.

Anniversary Gift

Emails have been sent to North America and Oceanic players to their registered address, which will include shipment tracking info. Our players in Europe will receive a similar email, and their shipments are expected to begin in the next few weeks.

If you're an NA region player (US, Canada, Oceania, Latin America) the receipt of an email is confirmation that you met the criteria to receive an Anniversary celebration gift. Emails have not yet begun to be sent out to our European players, but we'll start sending them soon. Shipment of the gift to EU players will begin in the next few weeks.

Criteria required to receive the gift:
  • Started playing WoW within 60 days of the game launch in your region
  • A continuous subscription for all 10 years, from launch to the Anniversary

We're thankful for everyone that chooses to spend time in Azeroth with us, and hope that this small token of appreciation expresses our gratitude to those few of you that have achieved the incredible milestone of playing World of Warcraft for all these 10 years.

[Update] All notification emails have been sent to NA and EU region recipients.

No not by a long shot. I can go buy all the chachkas I want. I find it incredibly funny that after 10 years of playing/paying that people end up with a Chachka... ROFL Its to funny. Its like working for a company for 30 years and getting a Timex. ROFL

I started on day 2 and have 95%+ subscrition rate over 10 years. I have not got it yet or had any notification.

Not to sound like a whiny bitch, but ill be pretty upset if i dont get one when people who bought the game at release but havent played in 5 years get it. Shouldn't the eligibility include being a current/continous player? Not saying 100% subscription or even 80% subscription, just that you played most/all expansions for at least a bit.

It would certainly piss me off if i started 3 moths after release but have played continously since then and i wasnt eligible, but someone who bought the game at release and played for 3 months and never played again got one lol.

Wait.. maybe... can i? I can! I can post links too!

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/jealous You keep parroting one meaning, there's 4 more.

http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/de...nglish/jealous Check the general meaning. The one you're looking for is a the punctual occurrence.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jealousy Update your vocabulary by reading the 3rd sentence of the main article.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/jealous You'll want to read the 2nd point for the meaning you deny is correct.

Are these enough? And about the remark about school, english isn't my first language, I might not know all the nuances of english as a native would (should) but nonethless I can say i'm fluent in more than 3 languages, can you?

There's a difference to being a (loyal) customer and being an (loyal) employee... I know that's a hard concept to grasp.

Way to alienate half your player base. Why would an alliance player want a statue of some random orc!?
It's a scaled-down replica of the wolfrider statue at Blizz HQ, you dolt.

If you check the original blue post from Blizzard and/or the front page of MMO-C, the eligibility requirements are listed there clearly.

Wont get one i think my account lapsed for 1-3 months
Hm, i'm in a bit of a grey area, my account lapsed for a day or so once or twice (Got a new creditcard, forgot to update info), so i may or may not get the statue, i would like an official message with some clarification as far as any margin goes in the "subscribed the full time"-clause...

Ah well, good for those who've been playing from the beginning. I was as well, but I don't think I made it to the limit of requirement.

Either way, no reward or not, I still enjoy the game, and I'll still be loyal to it regardless.

didnt start playing until 2008, i got no chance of getting this sweet statue !

If you are a North America player and did not receive an email then you are not getting one. Apparently 95% didn't cut it for you. Please try to be happy for the players that were 100% veterans.

Congratulations to everyone that received this gift. I came in late to the game so I will not be receiving one. But statue or no statue it won't stop me from loving and enjoying World of Warcraft. Kudos to Blizzard for doing this and making such a wonderful game.

We don't know if the requirements from the support article are the only requirements.

Quoted from the frontpage. I'd call that less than clear. No point in being an ass.

I way missed out (first subbed July 2006), but I'm still happy to be a long time veteran of this game and really like what they've done with WoD even if I didn't care much for Cata or MoP.

No one received email. Also thats bullshit, since people with far less subscription than me have gotten it.

That one? Yeah let's be concerned about the wording in that one.

This kind of ungratefulness/entitlement mentality is extremely disgusting.
