Thousand Boat Bash takes place in Thousand Needles. This micro-holiday rewards you with a little 330% speed boat that can be used on the surface of water for the next 7 days. Head down to Thousand Needles and collect these items to create your faction themed boat:

  • Mainsail - Bounce a Beach Ball 10 times on the Elf ships.
  • Rigging Rope - Collect various drinks from the ships on the east side of the lake.
  • Ship Mast - Collect explosives from the Gnomes / Goblins.
  • Waxy Reeds - Fish 10 pieces of garbage from the nearby garage pools.
  • Submarine Tar - Follow the submarine circling the lake to pick up fish and fish in the pools behind to collect 20 x Tar.

Patch 7.2.5 - Developer Interview
Bellular had the chance to talk to Lead Encounter Designer Morgan Day.

  • Nighthold was tuned three times. Tomb was only tuned once because the team waited until towards the end of development.
  • The pacing of Legion raids has worked out well. Legion was supposed to release content at a steady pace and the team has delivered on that.
  • Trial of Valor did a great job of tying up the story.
  • Helya was a good encounter, the team took a dungeon boss and turned it into a raid boss.
  • In a Normal raid if an individual makes a mistake, that player could die. In a Mythic raid if an individual makes a mistake, especially towards the end, the team is more willing to wipe the entire raid.
  • The person who created the NPC abilities for Timeless Isle was an encounter designer. The team tries to add more avoidable mechanics when they expect a high degree of difficulty. On Timeless Isle, the creatures were supposed to be difficult and require you to learn the mechanic to defeat them.
  • The team tries to keep the Keystone Affixes in mind when designing dungeon trash.
  • Tyrannical is cool, but sometimes there are debuffs that stack too high and make things too challenging. Targeted nerfs have been done to address this.
  • Court of Stars added class specific mechanics in a way that wasn't very organic. Making a Rogue have an advantage due to Stealth letting you skip something, or a Hunter ability giving you an advantage would be a more organic way to do this.
  • The team has a raid design kickoff meeting, comes up with a list of bosses, then sits down with the encounter designers to talk about high level design. From there an encounter designer will take it to completion.

Darkmoon Faire
The Darkmoon Faire is in town once again! This is your chance to stock up on those Inky Black Potions.

Yeah, but this time it's on the Broken Shore. Overall a very epic campaign that can go toe-to-toe with some of the best questing content in the game. Suramar pales in comparison.

Broken Shore and 7.2 is a major let down content and creaitivity wise. Of course there was something to do because they warmed up the AP and legendary grinds with the 7.0 content, but this patch added nothing. Sentinax is a major disappointment for anyone who isnt a fresh 110 char, Invasions are so uncreative designed (lol at the Hightmountain one repeating the same quest steps pre and inside the scenario) - how this could even go live? Not to mention that Legion has the worst class balance since they started carring about class balance.

That kid is 19. Sounds like 29...and looks like 14. He'll not get alcohol without showing his card for quite a while...

I actually loved the Suramar quests...so amazing and beautiful. Really felt the plight and challenge of the withered. Broken Shore was awesome getting my newly minted level 110 geared up fast. But after the nethershard nerf, it wasn't worth getting the epic tokens.

What do you mean, it's an opportunity to click on wowhead link through wowdb site?! /sarcasm

Seriously though, no one comments on wowdb and it gives less info than wowhead.

The rogue mounts are NOT all available for purchase after getting the class hall mount and earning Power Ascended. Each variation only appears to unlock after you unlock every trait for its associated spec. Not sure if it's intended that you get the equivalent of 'Power Ascended' for every spec or not, although it does seem a little unfair considering most of the other ones appear to only need to get it once. Ah well, there's another 4.5 billion AP I need to farm...

A damn shame they ignored my plea to get rid of the aura that's only around the ravens ass. I would have been happy without it, or if it were bigger to cover more than the birds ass so it doesn't look like it is powered by magic farts.... alas.

Slay 100 demons on the Broken Shore. Uh oh, I suppose Maiev thinks we didn't kill any so far? What a sad trash this questline was. A pity considering it all takes place at the doorstep of such an epic place like Tomb of Sargeras.

Well could be worse I suppose since Warlocks have to wait for and complete a Legion Invasion event before they can get their mount.. The Shaman one changes on spec change, Wind for Enhancement, Fire for Elemental and so on..

In all seriousness, I feel bad for countries that have companies who charge based on usage.

So the BOA AK item now cap you instead of putting you 5 point away. What will happen to the 2 recherche I have on my alt if I use it, do the 1000 ressource from those research are refunded or wasted?

Not really third world, I live in Canada. The bigger issue for me is what is going on during that constant usage, cause even with AdBlock on it's occurring.

They get instantly completed, and your AK is set to 38.

Source: I just did it on all my alts.

i just have one question, is the breaching the tomb achievement account wide? or do i have to do it on ALL my alts?...i know i have to do the class hall campaign for each alt, but the achievement for breaching the tomb is confusing me.
