Patch 7.3.5 - Allied Race Racials and Mounts

Update: Added Void Elf and Nightborne racials.

Heritage Armor Sets

Lightforged Draenei
The Lightforged Draenei are a new Alliance Allied Race coming in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.


Racials
  • Light's Judgement - Call down a strike of Holy energy dealing 5,150 Holy damage to enemies within 5 yards after 3 sec. 40 yd range, 2.5 min cooldown.
  • Forge of Light - Summon a forge of light, enabling Blacksmithing. Blacksmithing skill increased by 10.
  • Demonbane - Experience gains from killing demons increased by 20%.
  • Holy Resistance - Reduce Holy damage taken by 1%.
  • Final Verdict - When you die the Light avenges you, dealing 1,162 Holy damage to enemies within 8 yards and healing allies for 1,383.

Racial Mount - Lightforged Felcrusher
A long-time companion of the Draenei, the elekk are stalwart and sturdy steeds capable of standing up to the impending darkness without fear.




Dark Iron Dwarves
The Dark Iron Dwarves are a new Alliance Allied Race coming in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

Void Elves
The Void Elves are a new Alliance Allied Race coming in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.


Racials
  • Chill of Night - Reduces Arcane and Shadow damage taken by 1%.
  • Entropic Embrace - Your abilities have a chance to empower you with the essence of the Void.
  • Ethereal Connection - Reduces the cost of Void Storage and Transmogrification by 50%.
  • Preturnatural Calm - Your spell casts are not delayed by taking damage.
  • Spatial Rift - Rip a rift in space and time. Reactivate this ability to teleport through the rift.

Racial Mount - Starcursed Voidstrider
Those that follow the void tend to prefer the companionship of a steed without form or substance.




Highmountain Tauren
The Highmountain Tauren are a new Horde Allied Race coming in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.


Racials
  • Rugged Tenacity - Reduces damage taken by 330
  • Pride of Ironhorn - Mining skill increased by 15 and allows you to mine faster
  • Mountaineer - Increases your Versatility by 1%.
  • Bull Rush - Charges forward for 1 sec, knocking enemies down for 1.5 sec. 2 minute cooldown.
  • Waste Not, Want Not - You have a chance to loot additional meat and fish

Nightborne
The Nightborne are a new Horde Allied Race coming in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.


Racials
  • Ancient History - Inscription skill increased by 15.
  • Arcane Affinity - Increases magical damage 1%.
  • Cantrips - Conjure up an Eldritch Grimoire, allowing you mail access for 1.5 minutes.
  • Dispel Illusions - Draw upon your arcane sight, piercing illusions and invisibility within 15 yards.
  • Magical Resistance - Reduces magical damage taken by 1%.
  • Masquerade - Shroud yourself in illusion, taking on the appearance of another Nightborne.

Night elves have always had an affinity for the great cats that prowl their lands, and the Nightborne are no exception.

    Preturnatural Calm - Your spell casts are not delayed by taking damage.

    This is going to be one of the more interesting ones to see if it makes it to live.

    Taking into account only 3.3 classes out of the 7 available for Void Elves are casters that can take utility out of Preturnatural Calm, I'm quite disappointed with their racials.

    So are the main races getting a rework aswell or is all this just bait for paid race change ?

    I mean:

    Isn't that pretty decent damage considering the stat squish ?

    It is, but on a very high CD. You'll get to use it three times on a boss, maybe four. It's not a high dps increase, and the damage is split inbetween targets. It's more on a 'get out of trouble' spell. I'd prefer the Nightbornes flat 1% spelldamage increase.

    We best get these in patch 7.3.5. I don't want moooooonnnnnnths of nothing new. I want time to level an allied race or two.

    Allied races need to be "unlocked" I believe - which requires a lvl120 questline..... so not until BfA and you have got lvl120 and done that......

    The quests for allied races will definitely be available before heading to BfA islands. Except the Zandalari and Dark Irons.

    Ok, maybe right then. I still think its unlikely we will get them before 8.0 though - that does make them before BfA and not need 120 questlines - but only JUST before BfA. I cant see them being available for example in 7.3.5 or any other patch before 8.0 (but then again - who knows!?)

    I think they'll be available earlier for thoes that Pre-purchase, just like with Demon Hunter. :>

    Except the Zandalari and Dark Irons, ofc.

    So yet again the alliance Elves have the good racials, while the horde elves get crapped on.

    A portable mailbox? Who the hell needs that except farmers, and they would have a Moll-E for that if they really need it.

    "Detect invisible units within 15 yards" another useless racial, all classes with invisibility or stealth can hit you from farther than 15 yards. The only way it has any use is if it knocks them out of stealth if they come into range..but that would never happen. And lets not get started on how stupid Masquerade is.
