Kul Tiran Preview - Battle for Azeroth Allied Races
Kul Tiras was founded 3,000 years ago when a group of Gilneans left the empire to explore the Great Sea. They came upon a mountainous region rich in resources and decided to settle in. Over the course of the next 2,500 years they built one of the most powerful navies on Azeroth. These humans are much more burly than the mainlanders because of their time spent on the sea hunting monsters. The Alliance will be bringing them into their ranks as an Allied Race.




Unlocking the Kul Tiran Humans
To unlock the ability to make a Kul Tiran Human, the following achievements must be completed on one character on your account. Once done, you can make a Kul Tiran Human on any server that you have a 110 character provided you have purchased Battle for Azeroth.



Classes
The Kul Tiran Humans Allied Race can be any of these classes:

  • Druid
  • Hunter
  • Mage
  • Monk
  • Priest
  • Rogue
  • Shaman
  • Warrior


Racials
  • Child of the Sea - Hold your breath for 50% longer and swim 10% faster.
  • Brush It Off - Increases Versatility by 1%. When you take damage, heal for 2% of that amount over 4 sec.
  • Jack of All Trades - Increases all Tradeskills by 5.
  • Haymaker - Wind up, then unleash your might upon your foe, dealing 66 Physical damage, stunning for 3 sec sec, and knocking them back substantially.
  • Rime of the Ancient Mariner - Reduces Frost and Nature damage taken by 1%.


Mounts
The Kul Tiran Human racial mount is the Kul Tiran Charger.




Heritage Armor
Leveling a Kul Tiran Human to level cap gives you the Heritage of the Kul Tirans cosmetic racial armor.

    Honestly the ones I’ve seen in game don’t look like the naked ones in the preview. Possibly bc of the way the armor looks on them. But, they look much better in game.

    Their Druid forms a much better than those of the Zandalari which are greatly over-exaggerated.

    They have a certain sense of authenticity about them.

    You're telling me that you can look at those forms next to the base forms of every other druid race that is playable and say, yeah those look like they took put about the same amount of effort into them?

    Alot of people seem ready to roll druids for this race, but i'm going warrior. I'll give him muttonchop sideburns, and a pointed moustache. Black hair, and he will be a spear user. I;m hoping that datamined Kul'tiran plate armor is available, as I will use that. His name will be Galford (sadly, of all the titles available, "The Glorious" is not among them). His personality will be bombastic, I may watch old performances of Brian Blesed to get it fully developed.

    Hopefully this will stop the pandaren female epidemic. I personally don't mind the thicc models. if you're thicc irl i guess this is a good fit, more human customization is a great thing in my opinion, they're a very boring race.

    I don't know what happened to the slender male kultiran model though, pretty sure that exists, seen it many many times. Hope we actually get that one too.

    Although I haven't seen the humans in action, I hope they use the orc skeleton, would be pretty great for people that want a more brutal less refined human character.

    Probably will reroll my female alliance characters to kultiran if i can be bothered, 20 bucks is a little steep for something that isn't exactly a "race"

    I'm betting that rogue is going to be off the table entirely, and i guess maybe that makes sense, since a leather using class like druid IS on the table.

    that's your opinion buddy, i personally find them to be quite beautiful and in general look better than most of the same tired old shit we have had in game for years now.
