With maintenance next week, starting on Tuesday, September 11, we'll be making some targeted tuning adjustments to several specs based on how they’re performing in a variety of content. Here’s an outline of those adjustments:

    Ok, I know that tuning classes must be a difficult task ... but if I just make a factual check concerning Affliction Warlock :
    - Reduced survability compared to last expansion
    - Weak in PvP both for survivability and dammage
    - Weak, if not non-existant for AOE damage
    - Good for single target, although not at the top compared to some other classes which are also good at AOE

    And the response of Blizzard is : I'm going to reduce your ST dps ...
    So : I'm not going to do Pvp, I'm not going to do MM+ because not competitive, I'll stay afk during aoe packs in raid, I'll try to do my best on ST only (without any conviction ...).
    Of course I'll try destru and demo ... but too bad, they are even worse than affli on the dps side !

    I think that farming herbs and fishing is probably the best decision I can make at the moment in this game :-)

    Those lock changes are massively underwhelming.
    Nerfing darkglare too?! Really?! ST fights were the only thing I actually felt like I was contributing to in dungeons n raids given our pathetic AoE.

    C'mon Blizz, wake up.

    I get how holy p nerf might be warranted but its already rly not that good in m+ and I absolutely hate disc in random pugs who fk up (i fk up too but when ur disc and anyone fks up its so punishing)

    And i ghess the smite nerf means i wont ever do WQs again :/

    Aww.. I knew I should have lvled my priest sooner. Now it's back to shadow, sigh.

    Bli$$ard seems to be just stupid and blind:

    - Balance druid completely ignored (it needs at least a 15% damage increase buff)
    - Elemental shaman ignored as well (same needs than balance)
    - Demonology warlock a 5% buf (LOL. Just LOL. A grandma hits harder with her purse than this spec does. It needs AT LEAST a 25-30% damage increase buff)

    - Retry paladin damage still not nerfed
    - Enhancement shaman damage still not nerfed
    - Affliction warlock damage still not nerfed
    - Survival & MM hunter damage still not nerfed
    - Discipline priests needs a LOT more nerfs. They are healers and hit harder than most dps. Dude, you can be dps or healer, but not a fucking unkillable god
    - Rogues still need more nerfs (both talents and damage)
    - Demon Hunters needs to have the Glide thing nerfed and it MUST have a CD. It is as stupid as when rogues had an eternal sprint (WTF were you thinking Bli$$)
    - Retry paladin shouldn't be able to hit when the shield is on. If no damage can reach the paladin, then no damage can go out of the shield.
    - Wind shear CD must be increased for Enhancement shamans and insta healing should be removed from the game (same than Paladin/feral ones)
    - Healing thing from mage shields (arcane ones I thing) still not nerfed


    GG bli$$ard, the older the game is, the more unbalanced it becomes.


    PS: Rogues, hunters, warriors, mages, and non hybrid but pure DPS classes SHOULDN'T be able to heal themselves. Please stop this surreal and senseless thing.

    PS2: WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING WAITING FOR LIMITING AND ECUALIZE THE NUMBER OF HEALERS PER BAND IN EACH BGS, AND WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR BANING PREMADES O RANDOM BGS

    PS3: When is this MELEE CANCER gonna stop? It's been like this since legion (or Draenor, can't remember). What are you waiting for to limit the burst damage, ammount of approaching skills and interrupts, slows, etc. melees have?

    These changes are very small changes. Which is absurd because Warcraft logs are showing a 20% difference between the top and the bottom. Out of 24 specs listed on Warcraft Logs, in the top 12 specs 9 are straight up melee, and if you include Suvival Hunters as melee that makes 10 out of the top 12 are melee specs.

    I sort of feel like whoever is doing the pvp and pve tuning is not talking, seeing as some classes got double hit by nerfs within 2 days

    Half the stuff you're talking about seems to be aimed at PvP I guess? It's either that or your sense of which specs are good in PvE is a bit off on some specs/classes. Anyways you do realise that although these changes affect PvP that they're not ment for PvP right? This is for PvE balance, the changes ment for PvP nowadays no longer affect PvE so there won't be a overall nerf for the sake of PvP. PvP changes always go with a tag above that says Player versus Player.

    The PvP hotfixes can be seen in the other hotfix notes. And quite a bit of the stuff you're talking about is already nerfed quite a bit so I'm not really sure what you're talking about. https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/top...september-6th/ there you can read up on the first set of changes, the BM hunter(MM isn't really great in PvP nor PvE so I'm not sure why you're talking about MM) and warrior nerfs are at the top of mmo-champion.

    Now I'm not satisfied by the changes made since underperforming classes haven't been buffed and the fact that they don't role out all the changes at the same but it is what it is.

    Do you remember how all our classes were at the launch of Cataclysm ? I remember well, this made me to stop the game at that moment, like almost millions others.

    Those changes had one name : Ion Hazzikostas.

    No one cared that all through ToS raids at all levels of progression BM was dead last - by a lot. Now one raid opens---just a week in---and bam 5% BM nerf. Instead of nerf'ing anyone how about buffing others for a change?

    Amazing concept I know...

    Fire Mage Band aid.

    And it is just a Band aid I don't see this doing much for me in the long term.

    Hopefully they fix the underlying issues later.

    That's normal for Shadow tho. They are usually completely garbage on release and then turn out a bit sub par after 2 or 3 consecutive buffs. I don't know who is responsible for Shadows but whoever it is screwed up ever since BC. They are always bad in leveling, always bad in farming, always bad in open PvP, always bad in instances...and usually mediocre to somewhat above average in large scale PvP and raids. And they get a new mechanic and role you got to get used to every second addon. If something is the unwanted stepchild of WoW then I think it's Shadows...

    And on the other side you got Retry(which at times got released like 3 times as strong as any other class), DK and since last addon DH.
