Fill the sky with faction pride
These fireworks given you an explosive new way to declare your allegiance when you encounter other players, whether it’s on Battlegrounds, in the Arena , or out in the world . Simply plant the fireworks on the corpse of an opposite-faction player, stand back, and watch the sky.

Variety pack
Once your firework ignites, it will randomly explode in one of several faction-themed patterns. “Ooh!” at the Lion of Stormwind. “Aww!” at the emblem of the Horde. “Oww!” at the blade of your mighty axe.

Everyone gets one!
The toy will be yours immediately after completing your purchase. Both factions’ fireworks are included, and you can reuse them as many times as you wish. Once activated, the toy will be applied to all current and future World of Warcraft characters in the same region on a single Blizzard account.

The Ethereal Transmorpher will temporarily change your appearance into one of dozens of random epic foes you’ve faced over your adventures. Will fate grant you the form of Grand Magistrix Elisande, or the shape of shadow-twisted Ner’zhul?

Your own legion of evil
Once summoned, the Ethereal Transmorpher is willing to alter the shape of everyone in your party or raid group, should they so choose. Form a group of friends and turn the tables on your foes in your next dungeon run.

Also, how does something on the in game shop count as a game going on a casual direction?
The fact you snipped 1 statement, not even a full sentence, out of an entire post to seem like you have something legit to say is beyond dumb. That’s not even ignorance, that’s just giving up on your own point in an attempt to attack someone. Even if I was a casual player, which I’m not, how does that have any bearing at all?

Stop standing up for shitty games practices. I know you love Blizzard, hell I am a fan boy too but at least show some backbone to see shit when shit is present.

And again, as long as it stays cosmetic I won’t care as none of those things are required to play and progress. When/if Blizz ever does put things like progression gear or gear tokens on the store, or paragon style levels, then I will quit the game as that will be my breaking point.
I know you weren’t responding to me, but had to throw that out.

I would have been relatively okay with this if the sales were all going to the thing I don't care about, but 25%? Lol

You say "Get educated" and apparently missed the fact I said cosmetic items were on the cash shop (the helmets which I believe were removed not long ago). And sorry, these "shitty game practices" have been around about TEN YEARS now from Blizzard, since WotLK I believe. Give me a fucking break man. Also please don't like me some shitty opinion piece video. Their opinion means just as much as mine as yours does, one person spouting what they believe on the issue.

If you are trying to pull this bullshit slippery slope shit on me then think again. Having cosmetics, pets, mounts, toys on the cash shop is meaningless if it offers no tangible in game benefit. The moment they start selling shit on that store that lets a player have an advantage in PvE, PvP or whatever THEN we can have a dialog about it. Until then? You are glooming and dooming over something that isn't that big of a deal. Get. Over. It.

And finally, I don't love or hate blizzard. I don't like some of the things they've done over the years but at the same time they provide plenty of value for my gaming dollar due to raiding. Well I don't even have to pay for the game anymore thanks to Bnet tokens I can get with gold. So whatever.

Blizzard doesn't care if they're losing subs. Just look at Runescape 3: Players kept leaving and Jagex "fixed" it by adding in more and more micro transactions to milk out the remaining players, instead of trying to get people to return - till this very day.
Yes because in the what 8+ years the cash shop has been around it has devolved into selling P2W elements, gear, Xp, reputation, etc. Oh wait. No, it hasn't done any of that. Shocker. If this is a slippery slope and the TOYS are the one thing that will now tip the scales into GEAR on the cash shop, then this has been the SLOWEST fucking slippery slope I've ever seen.

I feel like that is one of the reasons it is likely to never happen because people WILL quit the moment that shit goes P2W. How many is hard to say, but it will raise one hell of a stink that is far larger than this "Omg a toy on the cash shop" bleating that is going on now.

i dont know how it is for you and tbh dont care but in many European countries it relatively easy to make 30-40 euro per hour as long are you are not some basic level physical worker. now how many hours will it take you to farm up 170k for 1 token ? i bet that unless you are crazy good AH player it will be much longer then those 20-30 minutes of work.

and there is this magical thing called overhours which pay 150-200% at least here where i work

so is it really worth to farm gold in game in case like this ?
Didn't say it was bad at all... a symbiotic relationship I'd say!

Can I afford the to real money? Yea, easily, but I'd rather pay with tokens. No farming required, most of my gold this expansion comes from raid BOE's and being self sufficient on consumables.

Anti-consumerism would be in opposition to what Blizzard is doing. Try reading the links.

And can you cite a source that says we are granted access to ALL content?

And do you oppose Collector’s Edition exclusive mounts/pets/transmog/toys? What about these items acquired through certain achievements?

Anti-consumerism is the idealogy opposed to people buying material goods just because they’re being marketed to them, as well as having interests in protecting the environment.

It feels as if you just put the words “anti” and “consumer” together in an attempt to make a word to mean “screw the customer over”. Anti-consumerism is against big corporation (or at least many of the practices big corporations use) You’d know this if you read my links.

And so...no source on access to all content, then?

    Let me get this right...

Did they start selling the beacon at 20 min duration with a 10 min cooldown, and then only after they sold some hotfix it to 1 hour?

If that's the case, that feels real underhanded and scummy to me.

They FIXED the item with the "nerf", you couldn't be transformed for than once per hour in the first place so the 10 minute CD wouldn't have made it more usable anyway.

You could only be transmorphed once per hour in the first place, meaning the "nerf" only brought the item in line with the hidden cd on the actually transformation.

And those practices are called “consumerism”, not “anti-consumerism”. Get it now?

Just because you want to use words for meanings other than their intended ones doesn’t make you right.

And this is how far people have to go to defend this shit - you're asking me for the source that says the subscription entitles you to access all content - because that's literally what a subscription is. If there were more than one type of WoW sub you might have a point, or if WoW was free etc, but it's neither of those things. You're asking me to prove the sub entitles people to access all content - well, the burden of proof is on you there mate, not me.
No, you made the claim. The burden is on you. I haven’t made any claim. I asked if you had proof of yours.

You’ll also note I haven’t made one single comment about my thoughts on these toy items, and similar situations.

No, it’s literally on you to prove the sub gives access to everything since you are making that specific claim. It’s not on him/her to disprove it. It’s also just as easily stated that the sub allows you access to play the game for a month, and that’s it. By your logic the burden of proof is on you to show that’s not true.
Also, the other person is using the literal definition of anticonsumerism while you are making up your own definition for it. Your usage of it is wrong and you should admit that and rephrase, otherwise you are just doubling down on being wrong.

In addition to what was said, when the advertisement went up it, it was labeled as an hour long cooldown.

That being said...I had my doubts about it but actually it's kinda cool. It doesn't just turn you into them, but also gives you their voice lines/shouts in combat like the Millhouse duplicator does.

Still don't think I'd spend $10 on it, but I'll definitely use it if others drop one.
