Glory of the Eternal Raider is the meta achievement for The Eternal Palace, the fourth raid released in Battle for Azeroth. This achievement rewards the Azshari Bloatray mount, one of the four ray mounts added in Rise of Azshara.

This guide assumes that players attempting the achievements have extensive knowledge of the encounters. For more info about the fights please check The Eternal Palace Boss Guides.

Overview

It is highly recommended that you plan your raid setup ahead of time, since there are a few factors that will make the achievements slightly easier. You can bring anywhere between 10 to 30 players as long as you have classes that can cover all buffs and debuffs, as well as some CC. Here are a few things that will make the achievements much easier:

• Have a player with tank off-spec ready to tank the three lieutenants required for You and What Army?
• Druids are great at collecting sea life required for Intro to Marine Biology due to their Aquatic Form
• Priests with Angelic Feather and Leap of Faith can help a lot in carrying the egg required for A Smack of Jellyfish
• Voice communication is really important for this raid, it's much easier to coordinate if everyone is in voice chat

You and What Army?

For this achievement you will have to defeat Sivara while all three of her lieutenants are alive and engaged in the fight. You can find these lieutenants around the trash packs right before the boss.

Each lieutenant casts abilities that you'll have to deal with. It is highly recommended having two tanks on these lieutenants to keep everything under control, but one geared tank can also manage that alone.

• Garval the Vanquisher will cast Rallying Banner. Deal with it by moving away the lieutenants from the banner, or having a couple DPS nuke the banner.
• Tideshaper Korvess will cast Roaring Tides. Make sure youre not in range when he channels it to avoid unnecessary damage. She will also cast Soothing Currents. You can interrupt it, or make sure Korvess is far away from the boss so that the spell doesn't heal her.
• Gorjesh the Smasher will cast Bellowing Roar. This spell must be interrupted by the tank every single time to avoid getting people feared.

Intro to Marine Biology

For this achievement you will need to swim around the boss area and collect 50 of any combination of Abyssal Clam, Scavenging Crab, Depth Skulker and Ventfeeder Worm.

Ideally you will need a few Druids to look for the sea life in Aquatic Form and in Guardian Specialization. This way they take no damage since tanks don't get hit by Toxic Spine.

Fun Run

To get this achievement you will have to run 6 consecutive complete laps around the arena without falling into the water. This achievement is personal.

• After running three laps you will get a debuff indicating you're halfway through of the achievement: Fun Run - You're halfway there...
• Once you have completed a total of 6 laps, the debuff will change to Fun Run - Completed a full distance Fun Run.

Be careful and avoid Arcanados during the fight, if you get hit and move backwards then you might lose the "Fun Run" debuff. Also be careful of the Stormwraith add in the intermission, defeat it really fast to avoid dealing with the Gale Buffet.

Simple Geometry

To get this achievement you have to make sure that every beam from Arcing Azerite goes through Ashvane. Make sure to track this achievement to see if the criteria fails. High DPS trivializes this achievement, since you'll get less casts of Arcing Azerite.

A Smack of Jellyfish

For this achievement you will have to incubate a baby Zoatroid. To do this, you will have to catch the egg during the intermission phase by standing at the specific spot from the screenshot below.

The player who catches the egg will be slowed by 30% and will have to bring it all the way down to the boss. Any abilities cast by the player will break the egg, and standing in Hatchery Moulting or Eggsplosion will also break the egg.

The rest of the players have to make sure the one carrying the egg is safely in the boss area before interrupting Massive Incubator. You should bring at least one priest that can use Leap of Faith on the egg carrier, and make use of speed boosts such as Angelic Feather. Wind Rush Totem or Tiger's Lust.

If It Please the Court

This is a personal achievement. To complete this achievement you will have to use the correct emotes on Queen Azshara during the Queen's Court fight, when each of the decrees is active, based on the 6 volumes of "Guide to Azsharan Court Etiquette" that you can find throughout the raid. The emotes are as follows:

• /salute during Form Ranks
• /curtsey during Repeat Performance
• /applause during Stand Alone
• /grovel during Deferred Sentence
• /kneel during Obey or Suffer

Use the following macros to target Queen Azshara, emote at her and then swap target to your original target.

Lactose Intolerant

For this achievement you have to open a portal to the secret cow level and then defeat 10 Twinklehoof Bovines within 30 seconds.

To open the portal you will have to bring the boss to 50%, start Phase 4 and then power up the six runes on the ground. To do that, players should move on top of them, get afflicted by Manic Dread and then get dispelled by the healers.

Once the portal is open, you can press the extra action button and you will get teleported to the secret cow level. From there you have 30 seconds to kill 10 Twinklehoof Bovines.

The Best of Us

For this achievement you have to defeat Queen Azshara with only one player is alive while they have the Essence of Azeroth buff. As mentioned previously in the overview, voice communication is really important for this raid, it's much easier to coordinate if everyone is in voice chat.

We recommend you follow this strategy:

• Bring Azshara down to 400k-600k health points
• Everyone except the two tanks and one assigned healer should now soak Ancient Wards to get 10 stacks of Drained Soul and die
• Use the extra action button Controlled Release until one of the tanks (Tank #1) gets the Essence of Azeroth buff
• The other tank (Tank #2) and the assigned healer should now soak Ancient Wards to get 10 stacks of Drained Soul and die
• Tank #1 is now the only player alive and they have the Essence of Azeroth buff

Once Tank #1 defeats Azshara before the buff runs out, the whole group will get the achievement The Best of Us!
