Diablo and Overwatch Animated Series
According to Nick van Dyk's LinkedIn profile (president of Activision Blizzard Studios), Diablo and Overwatch will be getting an animated series based on the games.

The Diablo series will be an anime style, similar to Castlevania, and is currently in pre-production for distribution worldwide through Netflix.

His profile also mentions that he "developed and sold an animated series based Blizzard's Overwatch franchise", however further details about the Overwatch Animated Series have yet to be revealed.

President of the film and television division of leading game company Activision | Blizzard, charged with adapting the company's intellectual property to film and TV, including development, financing, production and distribution.

  • Executive producer of Skylanders Academy, a TV adaptation of Skylanders (the leading children’s video game franchise in the world). Solicited pitches and selected show runner, assembled writers’ room, provided notes and creative feedback at all stages of production from writing through animation, hired key show staff (line producer, casting director, voice director, composer, etc.), sourced and hired animation studio and negotiated equity interest therein, established guidelines for talent deals, assembled series cast, and sold the show to Netflix.
  • Executive producer of Diablo, a TV adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment’s IP, rendered in anime style. The show is currently in pre-production for distribution worldwide through Netflix.
  • With my creative partner, authored development strategy for the Call of Duty cinematic and television universe. Secured development funding, developed writer compensation deals and oversaw negotiations to secure talent.
  • With my creative partner, developed and sold an animated series based Blizzard's Overwatch franchise.

This month
Depending on how much you want to overclock, you may need to spend a bit more for a better CPU cooler like the NH-D15.

Unless you are doing a lot of video rendering or streaming, you do not need the 8700K and would get more performance from spending that money elsewhere.

Make sure to keep your AMD and Nvidia drivers up to date.

    There are plenty of quality anime out there that deserve recognition
    Then there are tons of slice of life/loli/fan service anime that are shovelled out as fast as they can be made,that is weeb shit

    My god what garbage. Why do so many people recommend the Samsung EVO drives? You can literally get a cheaper SSD for half the price and for strictly gaming purposes (that's what people do here right?) would be sufficient and perform just as well. Shit Mobo too.

    Buy the cheaper SSD, put the money towards a 9700k.

    Not really. But there is middle ground between anime, that is unarguably niche art style (esp when I checked how Castlevania looks) and ultrahd diablo cinematic, that might be less polarizing

    There is difference between "I do not like anime, it is not in my taste" and "Lololol wtf is this shit you weebs". Does that make it clearer as to what I meant?

    Who makes these builds of the month? They are wrong on so many levels. Why is there even a different PSU between Narwhal and Unicorn? Why do I see the i5 9600k here? And when you are gonna advice the i5, why not the 20% cheaper 9600KF? The 9600K makes no sense at all when you won't be using the iGPU.

    Except "UltraHD" is simply not feasible to make an entire ten-episode season of 20-minutes episodes each.

    Looks like you don't understand. It's not right to call anime as a whole as "weeb shit". We have "shit" in every aspects of media. We have shit movies, we have shit western cartoons, we have shit anime... just like we have great movies, great western cartoons and great anime.

    There are so many different styles under anime saying "Style of anime." shows ignorance of someone who has not actually watched anime. Anime is as varied as western animation.

    That was what I was trying to say. People who say "Style of anime." act as if DBZ is the same style as Cowboy Bebop, and that is the same style as Ghost in the shell, that is the same style as Sailor moon etc

    I have an idea about the cost and time investments, yes. 10 seasons with 20 episodes in each would take forever to make, but it could be a miniseries. 6 10-20 minute episodes in a season, for example. Still expensive and time consuming, but so profitable.
