Well just finished To Love RU now to hit up the manga and the OVAs then the second series. Oh and i am not watching as much anime as i used to in case anyone wondering. Thing is that i go through phases right now i'm in a "balanced" one basically i am splitting my time more evenly. Eventually i should start watching anime like mad again. Then maybe go back into music or games more and so on. Well that and i actually have something of a social life now it's a right pain i tell ya.
Sure thing can check
http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Zemin
for the ones i've seen allready but any thing is welcome.
To Love RU was pretty fun. Motto sticks closer to the manga from what I hear, but I have never read it. I can say that the two Deviluke twins added alot to the series.
I have not been watching much anime right now either. Pretty much just keeping up with Nichijou and Yuru Yuri week to week. I do need to go back and watch Steins:Gate now that it is finished though.
Well i'm for all intents and purposes a NEET(i mean i HAVE a job just not a regular one i help out a video game thing my moms office does 2 days a MONTH) So yeah i switch obsessions. I may go back to college someday but TBH i'm juts not really the college type. The education system is too rulebound for my style of living. I'm a "nothings impossible merely improbable" type so to me it's just too limiting. That and TBH i am SHIT at studying and can't respect someone ill they PROVE they know more than me that or are stronger and even then ONLY in said area. So yeah i also have MAJOR issues with authority since most teacher college or otherwise expect instant respect because they have some degree. Yeah ya know what that proves THAT YOU'RE A FUCKING SEAWORLD ATTRACTION AND CAN JUMP THROUGH HOOPS. Thus why i call degrees dolphin papers. Oh and as you can tell i'm rather bitter about my experiences with teachers.
Still ya need one to do pretty much anything these days so gotta get one at some point. probably gonna go for small business and japanese maybe some tech as well. Provided i can find a teacher who actually TEACHES IT instead of assuming everyone knows all about it already asshole. Oh and if you;re wondering my IT teacher was making jokes about stupid things people do(some of which i'd done) and basically expected everyone to know they're stuff already. That and as usual just by mimicking other I get in trouble while they get away with it fucking humans.

Thus why i'm reading the manga first to get used to them then hitting Motto.

Oh right figured i should add i;m also in that whole "too much to choose from" place. I mean i have probably 2-4 months worth of anime in my abcklog. I mean between my external hardrives(which are a MESS and i honestly can't find much of anything on em searching aside) and my over 90 series/movies on dvd and Blu Ray(an ever increasing amount might i add) and then add in games and those i have somewhere between 10-30 to finish let alone start and well you get the idea OOOH RIGHT and then with over hell i;m not even gonna FUCKING GUESS MY MANGA BACKLOG(yeah it's THAT big takes up 2-4 bookshelves depending how ya count it or what size you're used to). I mean we're talking 10 volumes of kimi ni todoke 10 of Sumomomo Momomomo 8-9 of Asu no Yoichi ALL of Fushigi Yugi two Fruits Basket Omnibuses all of Absolute Boyfriend the 7-8 volumes of Yourself Myself the first 3 volumes of Bokurano Ours and TBH this is even a 1/5th of my backlog if even that much. I mean i REALLY need to hit my manga more often.
So yeah backlog wise i guess you could say i feel like the lead in a harem series who doesn't know who to pick. Oh and the manga bit doesn't even INCLUDE the stuff i ahve downloaded(like elfen lied, Noizoki Anna,Yuria 100 Shiki, To Love Ru and many others) so yeah again i'm in a tight spot.
Sure, I can toss out a few to get you started
Azumanga Diaoh ~ Very funny series. Probably my favorite of the slice of life variety.
Lucky Star ~ Another good one. This one also has a number of anime / movie / video game parodies and references toss in as well.
Minami-ke ~ I dont hear people mention this one much, but I loved it. There are 3 seasons of it, but they seemed to use a different studio for each. The first season is by far the best with the second probably being the worst. Still, they are all worth watching.
Kyou no Go no Ni ~ This one is a little different as it features both girls and boys (most of these series are just about the girls) and a large ammount of the humor comes from the interactions between the two groups. Very funny and spot on stuff. I think just about anyone will see some of themselves when they were school age in this one. There is both a series and an OVA. The OVA came first and they reused just about all the stories when they did the series. I personally liked the animation in the OVA better, but the series is longer so it has many stories that were not in the OVAs.
Yuru Yuri ~ Currently airing series that I am loving. Basically K-on without the music but with a bunch of light Yuri humor.
Genshiken ~ Another I do not see get mentioned that is fantastic. Its about a college anime club and the otaku who are members. Very funny.
Ouran High School Host Club ~ Little bit more romance then the others I listed, but it is a must see I think. About a common girl who gets into a school for the super rich. On her first day she breaks a vase work 8 mil. yen and is forced to work for the Host Club pretending to be a male host to pay for the damages. Looks like a total girly series from the outside, but it is great.
Hayate no Gotoku ~ Very well done parody series with a little bit of romance tossed in, esp. in the second season. Also features the VA of Louise from Zero no Tsukaima, Kugimiya Rie the queen on tsundere and one of my favorites.
That should get you started for pure comedy slice of life. I can also give ya some good romance series as well if you would like.
yup same here, hard to get a nice job here in belgium without a degree, got one right of electrician, love to do it but i love working with computers more so thats why i'm going ICT in college and if i could get that degree, i've got chances to start working overseas for gaming companies, wish is my dream actually. Oh and i would like to visit japan once but not alone, my uncle and aunt got a house there, where they live 4months each 2years so finding somewhere to live for a time aint the problem, would need someone who wants to come with me might ask my real life friend that's also into anime but he's also busy with school atm so that plan for going to japan will have to wait few more years., I just like the japanese culture too much.
atleast the sea is next to my school so enough fun when i can skip classes
edit: rie plays happy in fairy tail and she plays in alot of series i loved.
and season 2 and 3 of minami-ke are made by the same studio, just the first season isn't. i've also watched it
another edit: Just realized both the VA that plays YUI and the VA of tsumugi are singing in a group togheter. the 2others are haruka tomatsu, VA of Lala deviluke, sakane chan in star driver.... Did i till i love the insert song she did for star driver? and the last one is Ayahi takagaki. They bring good songs: ie intro of Ichiban Ushiro no Dai Maō
