So when u upgrade a item does it keep its enchants and gems? Anyone on ptr tried it yet?
And can u only upgrade gear thats bought from a vendor or raid gear like weapons?

Yes, it will keep enchants and gems. From what I have seen, you are able to upgrade any rare/epic item above iLVL 458. Rule of thumb: if the item is rare, it costs you JP (HP if it is pvp gear); otherwise, it will cost you VP (CP for pvp).

Will 2200 weapons/gear be upgradeable as
